Andy...I don't want to hold you up to ridicule. I think it speaks well that you would even go this far and on a public forum too. That's the last bit of moral fiber our glorious Heritage left with you... though it's drowning under all that Jew-crap you've loaded onto it...but it's there. I realize you feel compelled to do battle for "your" lord and I take it as a compliment personally that you consider it almost not a waste of your time to do so with me. I too feel compelled to enter the lists, but not for Jew fishermen and carpenters. If I didn't think there was a shred of decency left in you and an uncluttered corner in that otherwise shot-to-hell mind of yours, as well as the chance for your soul's reclamation, I wouldn't even bother. There's always hope that a young man can be freed from the fetters that blind him, that were set in place when he was an innocent babe and afraid of the dark and longed for even more presents at Christmas...the chances of tying up an old coot like me in these kinds of knots and mental contortions they've got you slung in, like a pig for slaughter, are very slight. I yam what I yam...you don't have to stay the way you were mashed.

Let's go back to Mars...to those pigs flying around up there. If you're going to put on Rational Clothes and an intelligent man's, even a priest-man's, wise aura and dredge up those poor, dead, unoffending Greeks and other muddleheaded philosophers, who aren't here to defend themselves...let's at least keep it simple and direct.

If a person runs into the clearing where his tribe is huddled around the one fire they have to keep the wild beasts away and breathlessly recounts how there's a banana tree over the hill no one knew about...the tribe may want some evidence for it right away, or they may not. If, in their experience to date, fruit trees maybe even banana trees have been encountered already, they may take his assertion "on faith". That is they know such things as he claims to have witnessed exist and it's just possible they hadn't stumbled on that particular tree. They won't scorn him...or hang him, because he knows where this tree is for one thing...where's the offence and also where's the miracle? Just something they'd overlooked but has every chance of being real and true and verifiable...and tastes good too. Everyone benefits...no harm done...and they can always hang him the next day if he turns out to have been lying or "miracle-prone".

But if the same guy runs into the village and tells them something absolutely fantastical that all their previous experience has shown them can't exist and more than that doesn't NEED to exist...they may want some proof, if they don't just chuck him into the fire and be done with the fool. Now if you were squatting round that fire, playing with your nethers, you might say, "wait a minute...this is so ridiculous it HAS to be true...why would he lie etc." They'd probably add you to the flames as well...if it was a sane village and wanted to stay that way. It's not good for the collective health to have individuals among you who use as a criteria for judging probability the utter ridiculousness of things. You can't hunt game that way, for instance, because some guy, a spiritual guide no less, might get glassy-eyed, go "holy" all over and insist there's a Mastodon on that treetop and tell you there has to be precisely because it's ridiculous and waste a lot of the villagers' time climbing up trees while everyone down on the ground starves to death and hunters fall to their doom. You see how that would unsettle people...and it would be small consolation if you told them not to mind it because they'd go to paradise and live forever anyway after starving or falling....so where's the harm? Maybe even encourage them to look forward to that paradise and get away from this earth where there's starvation all around and the good chance of falling out of trees.

You're the one making the ridiculous propositions around here. Not only ridiculous but unnecessary. No one can explain why anyone has to be executed to prove anything...except they broke the law and that's what happens when you do sometimes. But you've seized on this as the best example of "Love" you can find and further insist the dead guy wanted to get that way and then got up and flew to heaven where he's waiting for you. Unless the village is nuts already, people can't be blamed for wanting to throw you into the fire..only the funny thing is... it was you people who chucked US in the flames. Seems to me we were the reasonable ones to tell you to get lost and stop trying to convince us to climb trees looking for hairy elephants. And we did manage, after you killed a whole lot of perfectly sane and decent people and children, to pull your claws and yank your fangs a little...but the damage was done. Unscrupulous leaders realized what a boon it was to have people so gullible they'd climb trees looking for their supper, so you were encouraged to stick around...tone it down a little...but keep it up with the flying pigs and elephants on treetops cause at some level stupid people are easier to lead than the other kind...especially if you seize the schools and "educate" children.

You don't have to prove anything and it's a good thing you don't have to...cause then you'd really look stupid and we might just get free of this nonsense and chuck you into the flames for a change. But the burden is on you...the moral, the reasonable burden, is on you. You don't have to do anything about it but sing and chant and pray...and, in truth, you can't even begin to rise to the challenge...but it sits there nonetheless and if the world hadn't been shaved by a drunken barber already...you'd have a whole hell of a lot to answer for. We've had 2000 years of this sort of "ministration" and the damage runs pretty deep. But I have hope...even in you.
