The point was to make money. I know it seems too simple and crass to put it like that...but why did Martha Stewrat risk her standing...why would Enron cheat so many people...even friends...what makes our hearts skip a beat...what will we do anything for like any whore...money, baby...money.

They could care how many Americans get killed...except insofar as their parents finally get pissed enough...or how many Iraqis get killed...obviously. The Treasury has been sucked dry...contracts handed out to pals..."loans" secured to fix potholes and such...at interest...and the future profits for a few quarters at least secured.

Would an America of Freedom and Liberty Fame do such a thing...you bet your sweet ass...how do you think it came into being in the first place.

And none of it...none of it... could have been done so sweetly and so smoothly without God.
