That thing that puzzled the Kid so much...about how there can be so much EVIL in the world isn't puzzling at all...it's perfectly understandable...as is the reason people are becomming more savage and not less...and that the last thing we need is even MORE Christianity.

People were not inspired by Christianity at all...they were raped by it and had their homes and cultures robbed by it and their children taken away from them by it and their languages proscribed and their music and their ancient beliefs dashed by it...in other words everything they had developed and built up over centuries that would constitute their identity...was wiped out and brutally so. And on top of that the succeeding generations were taught to kneel before the symbol of their rapists and oppressors and give thanks and eat flesh and drink blood and learn to despise those who hadn't been raped and sacked and perverted to Christ...and make war on them and call them Evil.

In the modern era, when people retained a memory of what was done to them, you find pockets of resistance...among Africans and Native Americans there are hints and whispers of the old ways that were THEIR ways...not the Roman way...but for the other Christians brought to heel way back when, the memory of any resistance has been wiped out and all are grateful for having been raped. This doesn't always succeed...children retain "racial memeories"...not really Racial...but habitual. If trees and water and climate and weather can result in some humans being Black and others White and some Red and eyes that are blue and brown and kinky hair and flaxen locks and all the other ingrained variations we see in physical type...then it's just as possible that a person who's been a Ubangi for 1500 years cannot completely wipe away the ancient memory deep within and that the more recent and brutally applied facade, be it Christian or aything else, never really quite "fits"...or "takes"...and without knowing why or how the person feels a stranger to himself or herself...Look at what women have had to go through and still are to fight off the "natural femeninity" that was never natural at all but also brutally imposed upon them by an outside force...in this case, men and a male god. It's the Chinese mother that would insist her own daughter's feet be broken and bent double and tied up because it was "feminine" to limp...made you look delicate an more appealing...to whom? Like when you favor a sore ankle...only imagine havng your ankles made sore every morning of your life so you'd be "pretty", or manly.

Elijah Muhammad said much the same thing as Tiglath did...that Christianity was the Master[s religion brutally forced upon Africans...and for all his other goofballness, he got that right. Malcom X went further...he came to a truer realization of Islam, stripped of its reverse racism which was an understandable byproduct of the white racism they suffered...Elijah was a rebel...fighting against Christianity but still tied to it by chains...Malcolm became a true Revolutionary after his Haj...where he saw blonde and blue/eyed Muslims and Asians from all over the world...and finally broke not only from the Christian grip...but from the crippling effects of fighting that bloody hold...he just cut the chains and walked away...and they killed him too.

I always felt being Christian was a poor fit for Assyrians...and that those who crammed themselves into this set of borrowed clothes the hardest became cowards, were ill at ease and stupid too. Look at them.

It isn't that Christ himself was bad in any way...or that there is something inherently destructive of human decency in his words...which were nothing new and indeed are better words the farther away they went from Judaism and human sacrifice...but remember it was the Romans who made the religion...and we know what kind of poeople they were already making Gods of...Nero and Caligula and Tiberius and they would kill people who challenged these brutal men/made/gods...like they KILLED JESUS for denying their supreme divinity...and then went on killing and killing all those who wouldn[t accept Jesus...their NEW god on earth, it[s the same mayhem, the same murder and theft and spoilation and ruination of entire populations once done in Nero s name and since then in Christs...to these people Gods on earth were half insane anyway...and while they presented Christ as a prince of peace and the rest of it...what they actually did with him and in his name, including the rape of BetNahrain...was good old Roman conquering brutality but with a twist...the children would be raised to be grateful and thankful and to turn against their own families and cultures and heritage...people so divided and violently separated from their roots...will get even peace and love "wrong".

And look at us.
