I am an Indian. Ancients Indian texts are full of conflicts with the people called "Asuras", who shared the common ancestry with Indo Aryans and have been described as hardworking people with great enginnering capacity and capable of creating marvellous wonders in the battlefields but with great imperialistic ambitions and against Vedic religion. I have always wondered whether followers of ancient 'Ashurism' had anything to do with these "Asuras" described in ancient Indian texts.
