we all know by now how America works...if castro had an "open" system, the CIA would fund a rival political group that would merely be a puppet of their`s ..as they`ve done any number of times.

Had Castro merely wanted to be a dictator he could have stayed friends with the US..which helped it one point thinking they could buy him. It`s been an amazing ride through history he`s had...defying the US and managing to build a society under the most difficult circumstances. The United States, as he says, hasn`t a moral or legal leg to stand to stand on when they criticize his human right`s record...when did he have a policy of starving foreign babies to death?

Under the usual military dictators America supported in Latin America, the people went barefoot and sick and starving. Had America never played this sanction game, Cuba would be an even more leading light in South America..that`s why they did this to Cuba..to FORCE the point that Communist rule in any form is "bad"...bad because they made it so. They also killed Allende outright, who WAS elected by the people of Chille as their president...and installed another one of those tyrants they like so much.

Who+s human right`s record stinks?
