Tony...there ARE no decent people left in the world...we`ve all built a society on murder and theft and rape..try to legalize it after the fact as much as we like.

That German woman said it for all of us...the worst thing about Hitler(you can put Bush`s name there and no one will know) is that he made a murderer of me.

The ones killed suffered for a time and then nothing. Those of us left must go on with the knowledge that without us...it never would have been possible. If the French peasants could rise up against the crown...after all they suffred..then anyone can. But we wait too long and then we don`t care because we think we`ll be spared...

I remember the Prince`s closing line in Romeo and Juliet..."All are punished"! The dead are dead...we, the living, will play it over and over, even when we think it`s gone and forgotten...something will feel not quite "right"...we`ll get "closure" and "put it behind us" and "move on" and "just do it"..but the soul in us is drying up and living with the dust of one is hell indeed.

And we can look forward to a lot more violence in our culture as "revenge" movies becaome the rage..and we can ezpect our dear innocent darlings to go insane in a flash when it dawns on them what`s expected of them to keep this thing rolling along..and they`ll do more than pierce their bodies or scar them or paint...they`ll do more than take drugs like their parents already are. I don`t know what they`ll do, I don`t think it will be pretty, but then where would they learn about "pretty"...from us? But we`ll move on.
