'A Condemnation to Mr. Simon J. Mirza Letter to FCC'

Mr. Simon J. Mirza:

Out of all the people in the world, you are the one to complain about the nationalistic, educational and pluralistic programs and agendas propagated by the Assyrian organizations, specially, in the Modesto Valley, your domain.

Since 1974—or thereabouts—you were the resident of that area. You were involved in all the Assyrian affairs in Turlock and Modesto, so to speak. You were in charge of many facets of the activities of the Civic Club of Turlock, one of the largest organizations of the Assyrians in the United States—perhaps, even in the world.

Although, you were never a member of any political organization, e.g., AUA, BNDP, or Bet-Nahrain, yet, you identified your activities with the AUA, altogether.

You were the reckoning force behind not to allow this writer and the organization he was implementing—namely ICAN—to attain a speaking dais on the premises of the Civic Club of Turlock, from its inception, in 1974 through 1987, when it folded its offices, and its operations.

You were instrumental in disallowing any individual to rent, lease or deliver a message, other than related to AUA on the premises of the Civic Club of Turlock.

This writer had rented other podiums on three separate occasions in Turlock, because you forbade the premises in question to be allocated for other media than AUA. Devon Motel, California State College of Stanislaus County, and Modesto College were leased for ICAN to deliver their messages, and to advocate their national position.

I have no forbearance in your dealings with Bet-Nahrain Org., and its media operations. However, since you have embarked on a deceivingly vicious agenda to try to destroy the workings of this organization and its media broadcasting facilities, I have no choice but to rebuke you at all levels, possible in my power.

But, since I do not profess to downgrade, or to close the doors of any Assyrian association or its performance, I shall not the indulge the liabilities of your Association, and can only warn you that in the event—that shall be deemed necessary—I diligently shall countermand your contemplations to shut down the only Assyrian Media in the world, that can reach multitudes of our dispersed communities.

You had your chances to follow suit and to project your own programs and propaganda for the past 28 years. Why didn’t you do it?

It took an intelligent, an Assyrian, and a diligent man like Dr. Fred Adams to allow somebody like this writer and Zowaa to take the podium in your Association.

You did not attend—nor didn’t I expect you to do so—this writer’s presentation, even on the most precious of the days of our modern history—The Semele Massacre—even though, the writer wrote and published a Book for this occasion, on its 70th Anniversary, namely ‘Mount Semele’.

The writer is not a member, nor an adherent to BNDP, or AssyriaSat TV Station.

The writer was invited for an interview on that TV Station on January 24, 2004, and under no pressure or admonition, rendered his presentation in full honesty and diligence to the world, with no pressure or admonitions from the AssyriaSat TV Station staff, or management.

May I conclude, that I shall countermand will all fortitude, your suppository letter of reprimand of AssyriaSat TV Station, to the FCC.

...his SUPPOSITORY letter???? As in up your arse? Jeez...we have become clowns and don't know the difference...UP ASSYRIA indeed!!!

My only hope is that I will have no reason to face you in court, as a witness for the defense.

Ivan Kakovitch

...these be some BAD ass dudes!
