The Christian Argument

I'm grateful to the fellow for making the first sustained, detailed case for the Christian Argument...where we could get at it...the one that "proves" Assyrians are Christians and only can be Christians. They must be getting a little desperate...ordinarily they wouldn't open themselves up so, wouldn't venture forth to confront opposition, so cowardly are they...maybe it's finally getting through to them that the big "Silence" is about to end... That their tactics of intimidation, name-calling, banning and deleting, not to mention their Dicheaded scholarshit have only backfired. As they always do.

It would of course be as easy to say the same things about Assyrianism being grounded in Islam but they'll never admit that. And why? Because Christians, "talk a lot" about being desecended from the ancient Assyrians and Muslim Assyrians don't, or rather Muslim Assyrians go on to tell the entire story of what the ancient people inspired and accomplished right through to the glories of Islamic Civilization. That's all they have to pin their everything on...they "talk a lot"...and complain a lot...and make a lot of claims...and seek reparations as...and whine about...and wail and the rest of it. To them...and this is the saddest thing of all...talking is doing. And if you need more once in a awhile, you talk other people into doing some killing and stealing for you...because you're "too Christian" to do it directly.

Assyrians of the Muslim faith don't blather on and on about Sargon and Ashurbanipal being their grandparents because they've had 1300 years of history as Muslim Assyrians...and most of that time they had a civilization unparalleled anywhere in the world. The Christians however...the most backward and ignorant among them especially...the villagers where these modern Christians of ours trace their roots to...made it a point of honor and reigious loyalty (one they never felt as much for Ashur) to refuse, for 1300 years, to be part of the "usurping Arab" culture. They kept themselves apart...they declined to participate, gathering in little knots and grumbling and talking "a lot"...as they continue to do to this day. What's aina but a passle of hostile, pig-ignorant villagers? Not all of them certaily...many converted or put Christ in the background in order to participate fully in the exciting changes and developments surrounding them...and we have many like that today...who know their ancestors converted to get along and make progress and build good lives for their families and advance their nations. They were of course, traitors, to these Christians..the same Christians who will willingly work for the invading Western Christian forces and call that "loyalty to Ashur"...whom they dumped...when they really mean loyalty to Christ...a Jew carpenter who only managed to get himself and then the rest of us hanged. The only "gift" he brought was that after getting your head chopped off "for him" and those of your children you could go see his father, Yahwe, to thank him personally and then sing forever about it on a cloud...real bright and so typically "Assyrian"...don't you know.

People who are busy, active, engaged, challenged are also people who DON'T like to "talk a lot". They are pragmatic people...people of ambition and good sense...at least as much sense as those who converted to Christianity from Ashurism, who also wanted to get ahead...only the Christians wanted to get ahead "up there"...for eternity. What's the difference...both sets of people had their reasons and took their different paths away from Ashur. For the Christians to decide, all on their own, that squatting on your hams and waiting and wishing and complaining were in any way "prooves" that they MUST be Assyrians is a bit of tomfoolery so damn stupid it takes your breath away.

They argue in circles..."Christ was really almost "sort of" Assyrian...therefor the Assyrians who converted to Christianity really didn't go "so far" from being Assyrians all along...therefor whatever they did as Christians was almost "the same", or the "closest thing" to, remaining Assyrian anyway." And to clinch this nonsense they'll say Muhammad was as FAR from being Assyrian as can be...and to convince you they'll point out gleefully that he was a Warrior and Christ liked being spanked. And just what the hell did they think our ancestors were,...PRIESTS and NUNS? What better "poove" is there that their modern interpretation of what Assyrians MUST be leaves out...nay, CONDEMNS one of the outstanding accomplishments of the Assyrian nation...which was to be able to protect what they helped develop for themselves and ALL humanity. Who among us is content only to work and build a life for our families without the all important addition of being able to keep the damn thing safe from those who would steal it from under you and yours? This "Proove" they provide is a circular argument, a tautaulogy, it begs the question...it assumes as a given what it claims to set out to prove. Weak heads constantly do this sort of "proofing".

And I am grateful to this fellow and those who massaged his fat head and oiled his sleak body in preparation for this great battle he just conducted for Christ. He too will have to slink away and DIClare a victory...they all do that. He'll go, saying he has lots of important work to do (they all do) and can't be bothered to waste his time with a ten year old...a Muslim-lover...a traitor...a spy...an agent...an ass kisser...a degenerate...a thief....a bad father....a terrible husband...a worse son...and a skunky and failed sculptor. What they present isn't an "argument" it's a harrangue...a diatribe...they dump their shit on the floor...ask you to take big whiffs and then run back to their village.

They shoot themselves in the head every time...and yet they can't NOT say something. To them I and others like me are "undermining" the Assyrian Position...when it's nothing but a sham and a damned disgrace and has been ever since the Europeans gave them reasons to be "proud", reasons they never saw in Ashur himself. The contradictory and conflicting nature of their position...so glad to have dumped Ashur AND so proud to have followed Ashur...drives, has driven them...bats. Like I said, every once in awhile they feel compelled to send a Christian Champion over to do battle...all he does is soil his National Diasporas and leave. This one will too.

I could care less what they feel they're owed. If anyone wants to pay them back "what they deserve"...let them, whether it's a country of their own or a bullet to the head. Power to them and I wish them well. The only trouble is they will never get anything close to what they think they deserve...never HAVE gotten anything...and know it themselves better than anybody. What makes it all so hateful, so damned sneaky and mean-spirited is that they'll settle for having those Christians left behind harrassed and beaten and punished for their own indiscretions, while at the same time seeking the murder of Muslim brothers and sisters who never did a damn thing to them...and call it "political work"...once they themselves are safely out of the country and nestled in the arms of Yahwe and backed by the military might of Western Christians who know how to murder if our own "true" Christians are too faint of heart to do it themselves, but are eager for the spoils that come through murder...like the "Big One" that came to them through the torture, rape and murder of Christ.

That's the part...this eagerness to make more "martyrs", of others, for the franchise holders...the Church, that makes me sick and sick of them. That's the thing I hate...not Christ certainly...and not even the Pope and the rest of that nonsense...it's the extent of their knavery and dishonesty and cruelty and cowardice that does it for me...and for them to crown this indignity by calling what they do "Assyrianism"...dedicating this dicheaded duplicity to and placing it under the aegis of that glorious name is just too much to bear with patiently...especialy as they're the only ones venturing out in the world with their idiotic Diclarations and letterhead stationery. No wonder they hated to see Assyrian public monuments installed in cities...it only underscores how unworthy they are and have been...as it throws down a challenge to them to DO something as well or shut the fuck up.

There has never been an official attempt made by the Muslims of Iraq to say Ashurbanipal was an Arab. That's absurd. On their own Iraqi web sites they give bold and open play to the ancient Assyrians and others in that glorious land. What they've said is that they themselves are also descendants of the ancient people of that land...which of course they are, religion not withstanding. It's our own pig-headed Christians who've insisted that every Muslim in Iraq...whether she came over with Muhammad or converted in 1995, is an Arab...HAS to be an Arab because..."Islam is from Arabia". That makes every Christian in Iraq an Israeli and you know where that will get you at aina. But our Christians...as proof that their identity is all wrapped up in their religion...claim that to be Muslim at all means you CANNOT be Assyrian. That's how much religion is uppermost in their pointy heads.

No reputable scholar anywhere can sit still for this sort of nonsense. These "professors" and "authors" and "PhD's" they produce and their books too...are merely Christian pastors and apologists, that's all and how we ever got to a point where advanced degrees, in all seriousness, are given to people who "study" this voodo crap, I'll never know...maybe for just these sorts of situations when the addition of the three magic letters, "PHD" behind a person's name makes the fools among us think something sensible is coming next. At best the true scholars try to be politic and circumspect about these Christian claims to any exclusive hold on the Assyrian name and demure from outright guffaws...especially when people like Norman Solkha, as dyed in the wool an idiot as you'd care to meet, pay their expenses to symposia and such. But in their hearts and minds they know it's pure, idle, silliness.

Only it isn't...it's downright murderous. What has to matter to the rest of us is that innocent people are being set up and killed for this nonsense with no indication that this is going to let up any time soon...and if anything the knives are being sharpened to "massacre" more Christians and Muslims over there...which is just fine by the American government and our Christians. This has got to stop and the only way it will begin to, for us, is when the Christians in Iraq are left in peace by those who've escaped or been thrown out and who prefer to see that country, "saved by being destroyed"...a phrase that will send chills down the spine of anyone who remembers US miltary leaders saying it of villages they'd bombed to cinders in Vietnam..."in order to save them". We can't affect American policy much...we just saw how little. But we can and must speak out against this Christian Position of ours...it's literally killing us off...no joke.

Summababiches!...if someone popped out of the sky and offered them a better deal today, they'd dump Christ too. They're like the offended whore...we've already established WHAT they are...all we're dickering over is how much for how often.
