Cuba was never a threat and neither were the Ruskies..they were unwitting allies in keeping Americans terrified enough to fork over zillions in their hard earned taxes to "protect" them...it was the Commies who were rightly afraid of the United States..look at what it did to them...look at how it still keeps North Korea afloat and Castro too, so they`ll be available as hole cards in their constant attack on the American People..I mean our own politician cum corporate heads.
