I was roosting there a couple of days while we were sailing across. They have a bunch of forums...one being education. Fred Aprim is the moderator...and what's boring is that he's the only one listed by name...the others have no moderatrors or none that feel they have to be known..not only that but he's got a picture of himself up there. Poor fellow.

They also post excerpts from a book by a Christian who was an eyewitness at one of the many massacres Christians over there suffered at about the same time the Westerners discovered machinery. His "book" however seems a little weird to say the least. I don't remember if he was five months old or six years old when he "witnessed" these things. I don't mean to call his veracity into question but these are the same people who "see" things and talk to themselves and call it talking to God..so you'll excuse me for wondering about how stable or reliable they are...and how easily open to suggestion too.

In one excerpt I read he mentions a Christian woman with two children being confronted by a Mullah who undresses her two children and throws them in the river nearby..the Mullah then asks the bereaved mother to marry him(?). I know we hate Muslims..I know Muslims are supposed to be hatefull and stupid and vulgar and mean...I know that because I sized up the people telling me these things long ago and found them to be worse than Muslims..so I figure they must know..right?

But it seems to me no matter how stupid a Mullah might be, he still wouldn't think drowning the woman's children would be the way to her heart. If he indeed was capabale of such an act of barbarity why would he want to marry the mother? Isn't raping her more in his line? Did he really expect her to say "yes"? And since she didn't, and he apparently went away and left her there...how did he find it in his heart to throw her babies in the river? Either he's as inhuman as you get, in which case what would he want with a greiving mother as a wife when he seems more like the kind of guy who'd just rape her and chuck her in after the kids..or, if he was willing to relent and not force himself on her..either as a husband or a rapist..then why exactly did he throw her children in the water?

Somethiong doesn't make sense..and while all things that don't make any sense are to be attributed to God's wonderfully screwy way of doing things..I think I see the illiterate fingers of an idiot priest all over this story. It's just too preposterous...especially when you consider that these same Christians will keep mum and say nothing about the murders and torture and rape going on RIGHT NOW ...AND being done to Christians as well...only by other Christians. I can hear the Christians who plant these stories now..."He doesn't care when babies get killed"!!!

That's what finally sinks all their sob stories and tales of horror for me...they aren't consistant...they don't seem to be willing to damn ANY atrocity committed against a Christian but only those they can lay at the feet of a Muslim. That's just too damn obvious to be believeable any longer.

I don't believe a word of his story...any more than I believe Jesus got up and flew to heaven. I'm just not stupid enough to be a Christian I guess...and for that they say I MUST be an enemy of Assyrians.

Huh?
