Forget good and evil...forget moral and immoral or ammoral...think of legal and illegal...that's enough for any sane and civil society...the rest of the stuff is intended to make you murderous and liable to be easily swayed to commit murder by appealing to "the heavens" above.

No society has taught its children to kill, to steal from the neighbors, to disrespect their elders, to shirk their civic responsibilities...none. The United States Constitution...drawn up by devout men...made a point of leaving God out of the picture because they all had first hand experience of what this god-business can lead to...they'd seen, not law and moral order in Europe, a Europe filled to bursting, not with heathens and heretics, they already killed all of those, but with ONLY Christians... as a result of the presence of "God"...but on the contrary had witnessed butchery and mangling and tortures and thefts and rapes and injustices and confiscations and forced conversions and burnings at the stake and gouging of eyes and Autos da Fe...and disruption and wars and ruined crops and mutilated soldiers and lost wealth and widows and orphans forced to destitution and prositution and Protestant children taken from their parents to be raised Catholic and Catholic children taken away from their parents to be raised Protestant...this was their first-hand impression of what god and morality and fighting over which one HAS to be the REAL one...and it was then and only then they concluded that religion must remain a private matter, away from the Power of the State...that all a civil society needed was just laws and the might and will to enforce them...and some good schooling and health care wouldn't hurt.

As Frederick The Great said when ascending the throne of Prussia...right after one of the bloodiest and prolonged wars for god in Europe..."During my time it is enough for a man to obey the Laws...let each person get to Heaven as best he can." Or close to it. That's the voice, not of EVIL or IMMORALITY speaking...Frederick was a devout Christian for his day...it is the voice of Reason and Humanity and Wisdom and Kindness speaking...all things the Church can't abide because reasonable, kind, humane and wise people are the kind who don't take god-business seriously. The Church depends upon foolish, brutal, superstitious and easily led people to get by...people it never allows the chance to "think for themselves"...but fastens onto them as early as it can with a host of hob-goblins and terrors and lures and fills their heads with god-garbage.

The Constituion protects your right to believe in YOUR god...it does NOT claim to make YOUR god the ONLY TRUE GOD...and THAT is what these people resent about it. The Constituion...as we saw, protects your right to due process...to habeus corpus, to a speedy trial...to being confronted with the charges against you and the witnesses against you...it gives you the right to personal legal counsel...to rules of evidence, to open proceedings...to protection from cruel and unusual punishment....do you have any idea how many people and how much sacrifice and building and suffering went into winning us ALL these precious rights...ALL of us, men...Black men...women, queers, tansvestites and anyone who might be despised at any time by any one any where...and this Kid wants it thrown out or modified because, "God didn't have a hand in it"!

You bet your sweet ass he didn't...and he wasn't supposed to. We saw plenty of what he did when he DID have his hand in it...when there was no one else around and it was up to him to design the world...and look what he did with it that even he himself wanted to drown all of his creations, cats too. Leave our lives and the safety of our children in the hands of THAT bungling butcher? Would you take you kid, Kid, to a surgeon famous for drowning ALL OF HIS PATIENTS? Let him rule his mis-rule over Paradise...he left us here in a fucked up condition, thanks to his inability to do anything right, to fend for ourselves...to develop Laws... MAN and WOMAN laws to rule ourselves with...and the United States Constitution is, was and will ALWAYS be a shining testament to what humans can do...how they can learn from their history and do the hard and heavy lifting to protect the rights of ALL PEOPLE...and leave ALL PEOPLE alone to get to heaven as best they might.
