I wonder if it would make any differenceto their thinking if you whisked Assyrian Christians back to the past and show them exactly how they were forcibly converted...or forced themselves to convert. Probably not. It's funny...if Christians really believe they're bouncing up to heaven, it must confuse and puzzle and finaly anger them a great deal that so many millions remain unconvinced. Maybe it's like getting raped but getting the best goodie you ever got after...would be sort of a confusing thing wouldn't it? Maybe the rest of us just don't take to rape...don't get off on it.

It must sound preposterous to a Christian today to tell him or her that their family was forcibly converted. Yet we know for a fact milions of Africans taken to the New World were...and THEY know it too...but it makes no difference to the majority of them. They love Jesus just as much...maybe more??? Odd.

What if you were asleep and never felt your rapist and when you awakened saw the stained sheets but there was a box of chocolates, or Paradise, on your pillow and they're yours if you'll forgive the rapist and maybe even start raping yourself...what do you do?

This comes under the heading of, "This is the way things ARE!". meaning that to rail against some things is like arguing with the sky...rather pointless as the sky is one of those fixed immutables you have no control over. Likewise is your Christianity just the way things are, always have been...why argue etc...except they're at it again, the Christians I mean...using Jesus as a pretext to kill people.

Most people are still trying hard to believe in "Feminity" as just such a god-given, timeless and pre-ordained and blah blah sort of thing. It comes as a shock to find out that women are "made"...fabricated...there isn't anything immutable or timeless about the set of behaviors men...and then women next, expect in that category.

And you look back and see, really see, the incredible amount of force and cruelty and sick mis-education that's gone into it...and also realize that no one defends femininity more than women themselves...you begin to understand how victims can identify with what's done to them...make it a part of themselves...insist to you in tears that THIS is really THEM...what they ALWAYS wanted to be.

Go just a little further and imagine for 9000 years men only mated with and supported and allowed life to certain types of women...such as big busted...or cross-eyed or red-haired women and you get that uneasy feeling that someone has been selectively breeding humans already...and in a way, of course, they have been. Ornery, contrary, rebellious men...women, Blacks, children are always marked for destruction...or at the least destined to live alone and apart.

A whole set of behaviors were outlawed on pain of death by the Christian Church...but we beat them anyway...or did we?

Let's change the Commandments..."Thou shalt not kill children"...anyone? Or are we too far gone already?

I wonder what kind of Human Bean would make most people happy...or maybe that's the wrong word...what is it that would be "Okay" by those who rule us. Seems we're getting there. Or can you ever arrive at such a point? Hope not...let's always defy authority...it's the one constant in our lives as Humans that has improved our lot since the beginning. Fuck all Bushes.
