who said the yellow stripe represents anybody? How many other flags recognize ALL the ethnicities within a country? Does the American flag? It was "new" at one time ...did it include stripes for the French, English, Dutch, German, Apaches who made up the country?

The other minorities the boys rattle off as being as "worthy" as they are to be represented are all far smaller in numbers than the Kurds. None of them have been waging the unrelenting war against Baghdada the Kurds have.

So let`s say the yellow stripe really does represent them. Why not? If you wanted to bring peace and then maybe unity to Iraq and this minority had already proven themselves to be capable and willing warriors for their tribe with no reason to think for a minute they`re going to lay down their arms or demands..I`d give in to them too..if a stripe on a cloth would help keep a lid on another civil war...I`d do it too.

The Christians calling themselves Assyrians, of all things, and the other mish mash minoroties never shot anyone but each other and themselves and then only in the back. Why would the dominant Muslim Assyrians bother with them? When the war the boys tout so much is an illegal and gross violation of the rights of ALL Iraqis...yet is cheered on by the Christian minority there..why wouldn`t you throw them all out of the country? Give them official recognition for their treason..are they CRAZY?

Finally..since America shows that might makes right...the Iraqis don`t need to recognize the rest of the minorities.and since no one is advocating doing the right thing for its own sake...why should the Iraqis be the first? The Kurds EARNED the right by being a force to be reckoned with...that`s the way it goes..like America earned it`s approval rating for this war in the first place by being a murderous force to be reckoned with. All the Christians of Iraq have managed to achieve is to be a a non-force to be laughed at...when not despised.

Who are they trying to kid...did you ask? Why each other, of course.
