basically what i have researched is that yes assyrian is an ethnicity not a religion but we are unique as an ethncity. Our culture is derived heavily upon traditions and those traditions rely heavily upon christianity. Therefore being an Assyrian is also being a Christian. Because of our purged and sufferings of our ethnicity we are in similiarities with the Jews. Our religion has made us victims, and because of that we have stayed separately from the conquering Arabs and have become closer to Christianity than any other religion. Remember Nineveh and Jonah!!!!
