...AP reports a survey of morgues shows close to 6000 people were killed in violence since the Occupation began..more than died before the war...but some say that`s nothing, in 23 years Saddam is accused of having killed 300,000 to 500,000 people...and as one fella says, Iraqis feel much safer now..yeah right. I say Saddam`s figure for a 23 year period pales beside the United States led Sanctions that killed 500,000 CHILDREN in half that time.

But here we are again..claiming to be morally superior yet stuck having to compare ourselves to Thugs...next to whom we don`t look a whole lot better ..which means a whole lot worse..considering we should know better..or so we say.

It would seem then that the coming of the United States unleashed more violence..as it knew damn would happen..that`s why they were so fucking eager to get in there..once in they`d be sure to "find" Terrorists....or make them...either way Bush wins and we lose..hell, the price of gas isn`t even going down..where`s our bonus???

"That doesn't mean Iraq is a more dangerous place than during Saddam Hussein (news - web sites)'s regime. At least 300,000 people were murdered by security forces and buried in mass graves during the dictator's 23-year rule, U.S. officials say, and human rights workers put the number closer to 500,000.

"We cannot compare the situation now with how it was before," Nouri Jaber al-Nouri, inspector general of the Interior Ministry, said recently. "Iraqis used to fear everything. ... But now, despite all that is happening, we feel safe."

How Americans feel holier than thou because they have the leisure and the means to bury all the people they kill, or hve killed, in individual graves..how we abhor "mass graves"...we don`t mind the killing part..as those soldiers showed with their thumbs up signs..but we HATE overcrowding.
