In Response To: Alkhas, Aprim. Is this Where you want to lead us next Arabization? That 's where the Chldean's (Dora)

Dora,

These people that Governor Granholm has named are not Chaldeans.
They ARE Arabs.
The name Chaldean has unfortunately been thrown in the same pot as the Arabs by these so called Arab organizations,

..now you know how I feel when Assyrian is thrown up as Christian.

because they receive more grant money when they say they service the Chaldean Community as well, yet no money is seeded that way.
We have had this problem in Michigan for quite some time.
Unlike us, the Arab organizations here are organized, loud, intimidating and united. So therefore they get heard first and rewarded first.

...you could have said "unlike is, Arabs aren't mealey mouthed, slimey, argmentative and divided by Christianity",....you could have.

Millions of dollars of government money goes to the Arabs here. Millions of Dollars of Corporate America goes to the Arabs here. Why? Because their United. It doesn't matter whether you’re from Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria or Saudi Arabia. When they want the US dollars they are all one.

..the term "Arab" is a linguistic one...Egypt doesn't have the same culture Saudi does..or Kuwait does...and while Iran is Muslim it is NOT Arab and they don't speak Arabic. If we used the term Assyrian in its MOST inclusive way..a way that reflected ALL our people and not just the dwindling number of Christians..we too could unify under SOME name..not all Arabs are Muslims..but we INSIST that all Assyrians MUST be Christian..cutting ourselves off from the majority of our people...after that major division..why would we stop divinding and dividing and dividing...you can't see in your OWN post where the root of the problem lies and neither can almost ANY Christian...THAT is at the root of our divisivness and weakness...we make OURSELVES weak by placing a religious barrier between us and all the rest of our people...others are REMOVING barriers and calling it unity. We are INCREASING the divisions and parcelling them out to the highest bidder and wondering where the "whole" thing went to.

CIAAM got where it is because it is an IRAQI organization not interested in which Christian sect you are.

They have all converged in one area, (Dearborn) so the majorities have the voice. (Halal Pepperoni on the pizza in the school cafeterias, Ramadan and Eid holidays off, city parades, festivals, elected officials, etc.) They infiltrate in the schools and the neighborhoods.

...hold on there...this is beginning to sound like a German explanation of why Jews, "stick together". It isn't CONVERGING when a family gets together..and it isn't INFILTRATING when ten Arab families move in among 200 million Americans.

Every free corner for sale they buy and put up a brand new gas Station. Any church for sale they buy, tear down and put up a 10 million dollar mosque. Corporate USA loves them. GM gives them hundreds of thousands of dollars every year in event sponsorship just so they buy their cars. Banks, Hospitals, Computer Companies, Retailers, and so on donate like crazy to see their signs up and have them as customers.

...you're describing every immigrant group that came to America..why make it sound sinister when this immigrant group does it. You sound like any white maven expressing her revulsion at "those" people...meaning anyone who isn't white.

At the Assyrian Convention in Detroit, we raised only $40,000 in corporate sponsorship from Ford Motor Company and others, yet our own people complained that we were paying too much attention to the CEO of Ford who was a guest speaker and not one of the leaders of our own political organizations.
This is our mentality. Yes, they will use Arabs and Chaldeans in the same breath and soon they'll probably use Arabs and Assyrians in the same breath all for money and power. And the sad thing is we let them by our own ignorance.

...when the Christian Church "uses" Assyrians and we "let them"..also for power and money...haven't we declared to anyone else who comes along that we're for hire? Didn't Bush hire you and the AANF?
