AINA: Amid Escalating Fear of Massacres, Assyrians Commemorate Martyr's Day

...there are no "escalating fears of massacres"...the only masscare being visited on Iraqi people of BOTH religions is coming from America...and with the good wishes of these same boys. Syria rightly banned these martyr day fests because they see them for an attaempt to KEEP hatred and ignorance and lies alive and well. If the boys really wished to commeorate those victims they would not use these sorts passionate lies and remembrances as a way to justify calling on Bush to come "save them" because they are being massacreed again 'JUST like Simele". Knowing what they know about how Christians use Evil Islam to attack and kill innoent Muslims anywhere they wish to, Syria doesn't want to give OUR religius Extremists the chance to ask Bush to come save THEM because of Simele. The raw, uncut and ugly truth is that several thousand MORE Christians have been killed directly by Christian war and Sanctions, which starved to death 500,000 Iraqi children, thousands of whom were Christians...far, far more than were ever klilled in Simele.

If, as the boys claim, Syria CONDONES such violence and this is the reason it banned martyr parties...then we have to assume aina and beth and the Churches who REFUSED to mention the thousands of Christians murdered BY Christians, CONDONE such crimes when THEY ban us and keep us from reporting what everyone knows is true...that thousands of Christians have been killed, not by a Kurd 70 years ago, but by CHRISTIANS.....TODAY!

(AINA) -- Less than one week after the deadly Assyrian Church bombings in Baghdad and Mosul [1], Iraq, Assyrians once again will gather to commemorate Assyrian Martyr's Day. August 7 marks the memorial day for legions of Assyrian (also known as Chaldeans and Syriacs) victims of massacres, pogroms, and genocide in general,

..utter nonsense and hate-mongering. The boys KNOW they will not get a Christlandia..these outrageous claims and a rewriting of history are meant to keep our people at each others throats...and photos and articles that unhappily came out as a reasult of these same bombings, which showed our people united with their Muslim and Christian neighbors AGAINST what the boys and their Masters have done to ALL of them...scared the shit out of Jassim and Ross and Hanna...and that's why you have "legions" of dead Christians from the past being dragged out of their graves while the boys re-BURY thousands of Christians killed under our noses by CHRISTIANS.

The boys say it is in order to AVOID future Simeles that they seek t o"educate" the world...that is bullshit...the ONLY way they can hope to get a Christlandia, using "Assyria" as their front, is to get MORE Simeles...and so they hold these lying tournaments for "our" sake. It is NOT for our sake that Bush is in Iraq killing more of us than were EVER killed by Saddam...it is for the sake of Hatred and Extremism...the Church claims to being doing god's work but it is for THEIR sake, not the sake of the people they do this...in order to keep THEMSELVES alive and we are dying by the thousands so that they can live...the Church's job is spreading hatred through ignorance but most importantly through fear...and that is ania's job and beth's job as well.

This year's Church bombings coinciding with the 71st anniversary of the massacre have rekindled the same Assyrian concerns about security in Iraq and reignited calls for a "Safe Haven" in an Assyrian administered area.

...no they have NOT...these calls are what helped Bush presnt more lies about "saving" us..even as he killed thousands of us. NO ONE in Iraq wants to be crowded into a ghetto...which will be no safer than a church was..they wish to live in peace and harmony with ALL the people of Iraq in ALL of THEIR country. This is the agenda of the boys to serve their church Masters who want a Christlandia where Assyria used to be and Iraq is today. They know it will never happen but it forms a part of their strategy to keep us at each others throats for fear we will do as those neighbors did who rushed to the aid of their fellow Iraqis, regardless of religion or past crimes and errors and CONDEMNED the violence brought by outsiders with the blessings of the boys...who sit in peace and safety in America and elsewhere and PROVOKE this violence against those of us stuck in harm's way...made more deadly by the minute as the boys call for even MORE intervention.

In the early stages of the last century, Great Britain enlisted the support of the Assyrians as an ally in World War One. The autonomous Assyrians were drawn into the conflict following successive massacres against the civilian population by forces of the Ottoman Empire consisting of Turks and Kurds.

...not true either. It was the Turks who were set upon and massacred by the European Christians in search of the same oil that they are killing us for all over again. Then as now no Muslim country had done a THING to the Christian West...which used claims of persecution etc. as an EXCUSE to rush to the aid of their dear minority Christian brothers, whom they quickly used and betrayed..as they will again. It was the massacres of the civilians of Turkey that came in wave after wave, brought to them by Christians and then as now our people were caught up in the war for oil brought to their shores and they were lied to then as now and given "hope" that a Christlandia would be given them for their treachery and then as NOW they will be left holding an empty bag filled with the broken bodies of their children.

Although many geopolitical and economic factors were involved in provoking the attacks against the Assyrians, a jihad or "holy war" was declared and served as the rallying cry and vehicle for marauding Turks, Kurds, and Persians.

...this was merely in response to the war waged against innocent Muslims who happened to be sitting on the oil the West needed to run its machinery because coal, which they had plenty of, wassn't efficient enough or clean enough and was more expensive to dig from their own lands...it was the Christians who came marrauding in their HOLY MONEY WAR...that led to our disaster...just as it was rampaging Christianity that is going after EVERY Muslim anywhere in the world for what NINETENN Saudis did...but has yet to do a thing to the country that gave birth to them...THIS is the sort of marruading and TOTAL destruction the Christians brought then AND now to our people. We have opportunists who see "golden opportunities" for themselves WHENEVER Christians wage war against our countries and people...who seek to profit from the rubble when all are suffering alike...except them.

Although the Muslim holy war against the Armenians is perhaps better known, over three-fourths, or 750,000 Assyrian Christians died by outright murder, starvation, disease and the all too familiar consequences of genocide, between 1914-1923 during the Assyrian Holocaust along with a significant number of Pontic Greeks.

..that pales by comparison to the millions of Turks who were killed who did NOTHING to anyone to deserve it either...like Iraq did nothing to the United States to bring on this war in which there has been PLENTY of starvation and disease and outright murder...brought again by Christians to our people..and which the Christian boys STILL refuse to see or mention.

The conflict and subsequent Assyrian Holocaust, commemorated on April 24 of every year as Sayfo ("The Sword"), led to the decimation and dispersal of the Assyrians. Those Assyrians who survived Sayfo were driven out of their ancestral homeland in Turkish Mesopotamia primarily toward the area of Mosul Vilayet in Iraq, Jazira in Syria, and the Urmi plains of Iran where large Assyrian populations already lived. The massacres of 1915 followed the Assyrians to these areas as well, prompting an exodus of many more Assyrians to other countries and continents. The Assyrian Holocaust of 1915 is the turning point in the modern history of the Assyrian Christians precisely because it is the single event that led to the dispersal of the surviving community into small, weak, and destitute pockets.

..and those who survived the effects of a Christin war brought to Islam in order to steal their oil...just got it AGAIN from the same people who brought them their last bit of misery...our people lived in peace and security in Turkey under the Millet System which gave them MORE autonomy than they will ever have again...until the Christians came murdering and stealing THAT time...having re-grouped and recovered and living side by side with the same Muslims they were friends with back then..as they are still friends today...they have suffered another illegal war made against all of them and for the same oil..and once again ALL of our people are suffering for what CHRISTIANS, NOT Muslims, did and are doing to them.

On account of the Assyrians siding with the victorious Allies during World War One, Great Britain had promised the Assyrians autonomy, independence, and a homeland in order to ensure their security and survival. The Assyrian question was addressed during postwar deliberations at the League of Nations. However, with the termination of the British Mandate in Iraq, the unresolved status of the Assyrians was relinquished to the Iraqi government with certain minority guarantees specifically concerning freedom of religious, cultural, and linguistic expression.

..it was never their INTENTION to give us anything....then and now. They simply manage to find weak headed boys who dream of "Assyrian" glory when they can raise a new cathedral to a Jew. The British and Americans are NOTORIOUS for making promises, any promises at all they know chumps need to believe...and they have ALWAYS broken those promises..ask any Apache. It is more than foolishness to believe any more of those SAME promises...it is criminal.

Many of the Assyrians surviving Sayfo had been gathered in refugee camps in Iraq pending final resettlement in an autonomous Assyrian homeland.

...they were not "gathered there", like sheep. They had been allowed to come into Iraq because Muslims of Iran were chasing them to kill them. We were WELCOMED into Iraq by Muslims...not "gathered there".

In 1933, however, the Iraqi government declared an ultimatum giving the Assyrians one of two choices: either to be resettled in small populations dispersed amongst larger Muslim populations that had recently been violently antagonistic or to leave Iraq entirely.

...they were antagonistic because contraray to the wishes of the majority of Assyrian Christians , a handful had gone to work for the occupying British, wearing their uniforms,carrying their wespons and getting PAID by them to act as a colonial police force and they had killed their own hosts in service of the British who were roundly hated by Iraqis.

...not allowing them to continue in the kinds of crowded camps or villages where they coudl weave more treachery, the government wanted them to assimilate into Iraqi scoeity because they could not afford to have well armed foreginers who'd already worked for their enemies...living alone in small enclaves. There was NEVER an attempt to "Arabze" them...only to INTEGRATE them into the larger population of IRAQIS.

Some Assyrians chose to leave to neighboring Syria and so notified the Iraqi government of their intention. In response, the Iraqi government dispatched the Iraqi army to attack the Assyrians fleeing into Syria.

...lies and propaganda..... ALL of it. The disbanded Levies, who'd just finished killing several Iraqis for their British Masters...who left them in the lurch to be "taken care of"...refused to turn over the weapons...which would be frowned upon by ANY government...their crossing illegally into Syria and then back again, carrying the same guns they'd just finished training on their hosts and those who SAVED them...made the government nervous and eager to make an example that would discourage further illegal acts...of course it was WRONG to kill innocent people...but for god's sake what have these CHRISTIANS been doing now for 14 years in Iraq BESIDES kill innocent people...Simele pales by comparison to what has been done to ALL the people of Iraq...Muslim and Christian...where thousands more Christians have been killed by Christians than were ever killed in Simele.

In their subsequent defeat, the retreating Iraqi army massacred over 3,000 Assyrian civilians in Simmele and other surrounding towns in northern Iraq in August of 1933. Eyewitness accounts recorded babies hurled into the air and bayoneted and women and elderly being run over by vehicles repeatedly.

....you forgot the babies from incubators. These are lies...especially when you consider how the boys labor to cover WORSE crimes we KNOW about committed against ALL our people today. If they can ignore today it's a good bet they're inventing yesterday.

Upon his return to Baghdad, the commanding officer, a Kurd named Bekir Sidqi, who executed the massacre was hailed as a conquering hero. Thus, the first official military campaign of the Iraqi army served as the newly independent government's final solution to the Assyrian question.

...then he must have inspired you Christians when you killed six million Jews as a part of YOUR final solution. These crimes are EVERYWHERE and EVERYONE knows it..what makes the boys so dangerous and skunky is that they USE the crimes of 80 and 1390 years ago to justify and bring on the crimes of TODAY and by far the greatest crimes committed against all our people today have been committed by CHRISTIANS...and the boys want more because they want REVENGE and to keep us apart so we'll never live in peace with all our people.

...This would be akin to holding rallies in America where Native Americans get guns and demonstrate against all the crimes committed agsinst THEM by the American government and cross over into Canada and Mexico and back carrying their guns and refusing to put them down...America killed 90 civillians...most of them children, in Waco, Texas for an outstanding traffic fine agsinst ONE man..these things happen everywhere but NO government will allow you to use past crimes to justify your own recent ones in "Remembrance"..these martyr parties are nothing less than an incitement to violence and feelings of revenge and as such should be banned EVERYWHERE no matter WHO does them. It is anoter FRONT.

The demoralized Assyrian refugee population in Iraq was thereby resettled in dispersed villages while the other surviving isolated communities languished in the areas of Tur Abdin, Turkey; Jazira, Syria; and Urmi, Iran.

..the vast majority of Assyrian refugess in Iraq..welcomed by the Muslim government, were made to suffer, then as now, for what a few hotheaded boys did. But the majority of them simply went on with their lives with the added burden of being suspected for the acts of a few nut jobs...just as some will hold all Christians in Iraq responsible or to blame for what a few idiots have said and done.

The lessons of World War I and 1933 remain fresh in the Assyrian psyche. On the one hand, deep apprehension about the peaceful intentions of their neighbors is coupled with profound suspicion about the reliability and commitment of Western powers. These same lessons were re-inscribed into the Assyrian psyche on August 1, 2004 as old wounds were once again torn open.

..these wounds were made by the same people who made the last ones through THEIR illegal and murderous wars on civillians who never did a thing to them but have oil..and the SAME kinds of boys went to work for the SAME people who caused our misery before..it was NOT the Muslims who betrayed us but the Christians who killed our neighbores with the LOUD cheers and active collaboration of some among us who have once again, as before, hurt ALL of us with their harebrained notions of what is OWED to them. Each time, unfortunately, they have gotten EXACTLY what was coming to them..but they have dragged everyone else down with them...like they are doing now.

For Assyrians, today's circumstances in Iraq mark striking similarities to those of 1933. Again today, Assyrians find themselves in a period of flux, insecurity, threat, and uncertainty.

...because AGAIN the West wants to steal our oil and resources and use us and AGAIN they found the nitwits who fell for their promises of greatness and a Christlandia as before and once AGAIN the actions of a few have hurt everybody as our people back home say..they do not blame Islam or their neighbors, they blame the United States and the foreigners it allowed in and brought in to wage this running battle against ALL of us.

The official Assyrian political aspiration of an administered or semi-autonomous area in the Plains of Nineveh hark back to the appeals made to the League of Nations. The negligible commitment of the West to protect Assyrian Christians mirrors the neglect of the past as well. And now rising attacks against Assyrians[1] climaxing in the bloody Church bombings rekindle the same Assyrian suspicions and apprehensions felt in August 1933 when Bekir Sidqi schemed to cleanse yet another region of Assyrians.

...again brought on by idiot boys who loudly proclaimed they were one with those attacking and killing us...what do you expect...gratitude?

However, some welcome differences are not deniable either. Whereas in 1933, the government of Iraq marked the bayoneting of babies by Sidqi's henchmen with parades and medals, today's Iraqi government and leading Islamic leaders were quick to condemn the attacks. The rapidity of blaming the attacks on Jordanian born Zirqawi -- a non-Iraqi Al-Qaeda operative -- attempted to send a quick signal that this could not have been an inside Iraqi attack on fellow Iraqi Christians. One Assyrian analyst who welcomed the condemnations from across the Iraqi political and religious spectrum as a refreshing sea change, never the less viewed the quick declaration by the government that Zirqawi had orchestrated the attack as at least premature if not wholly disingenuous. "Clearly a non-Iraqi Al-Qaeda may have committed these attacks, but so too could have others such as Kurds, former Baathists or anyone else fighting US forces who may in their own twisted way link Assyrian Christian Churches to the American 'Christian' forces.

At the end it does exactly what Jassim started out denying it would do..it blames Iraqis..any way you cut it, for the crimes that AMERICA brought..as ALL Iraqis, Christian and Muslim are repeatedly saying, "we blame outside FOREIGNERS"! ..NONE of this was happening when Saddam was in power and NEITHER was there any chance for a Christlandia..the ONLY way the boys could even think about it coming to be was if there was turmoil and chaos in Iraq AND IF THERE WERE DEAD CHRISTIANS...but they would have to be "massacreed" by MUSLIMS..who gives a shit from WHERE or what party.... and all those thousands more Christians killed by CHRISTIANS are to be swept from memeory and into their graves TWICE.

For the government to quickly blame Zirqawi without an investigation or a claim of responsibility smacks of a political decision to absolve or whitewash -- as it were -- any Iraqi or Iraqi society itself for that matter of such a heinous crime. August 7, 1933 and the subsequent decades of persecution by successive regimes remind us that Iraq has been and indeed is capable of such acts. Sweeping such attacks under the rug will not serve the progress of Iraqi society due justice. The history of abuse and massacre of Assyrians by the Iraqi state must be recognized. Only when we come to terms with the historical facts and realities and accept the Assyrian people's aspiration to live in security in their ancestral towns and villages in the Nineveh Plain can we begin to lay Assyrian concerns to rest." On a hopeful note, the analyst noted "The early signs from Iraq with nearly universal condemnation of the attacks is indeed encouraging, however."

...However your arse! The dirty secret you boys hide is that to meet your agenda this violence HAD to be unleashed in Iraq regardless of how many of our own children paid YOUR price...that the only way to "honor" Christ in Iraq is over the dead bodies of Christians..they just have to be killed RIGHT..and THAT is what Bush is doing for you by infuriating our Muslims and

This year, less than one week after five Christian Churches were bombed, Assyrians will gather on August 7 in their Churches, social halls, and cemeteries for poems, prayers, and recollections (story). This year, armed with haunting images of smoke billowing from their churches, Assyrians will again become determined to rebuild and refortify. This year, Assyrians will couple the memories of the Simmele massacre with fresh images of bloodied and dead worshipers as they redouble their efforts to transform the historical dream of a self administered area into a safe, secure, and lasting reality.

..that is YOUR agenda...to FORCE them into it. Yu will never get a safe anything and you knowit. There is no reason and no precedent for such a thing and you are NOT Assyrians but a Christian sect loning for revenge but too pimply to do it yourselves.

..it is Christians who have committed the acts for their own benefit that has led to every crime we have sufferd in the last century and at the beginning of this one..you merely drag the victims of centuries gone past before our eyes to obscure that fact. Our people in Iraq know the truth...we know the truth..and increasingly and partly because America will NEED to declare a victory before leaving..so will the world.
