Habibi, Assyrian Christianity has never brought death to people of other religions. Unless you are a Roman Catholic, Protestant or other type of Western Christian - you have nothing to apologize for in your ancestor's actions. Assyrian Christians have never done anything to anybody. Yes, there are good Muslims and good Jews and good Buddhists, and bad Muslims and bad Jews and bad Buddhists. My concern is not with them or their history, it is with us and our history. And any history you read of ours will tell you exactly what I said above. Our Church never persecuted anyone in any way, shape or form. In fact, it was the other way around and we have always been on the receiving end of persecution. Any serious student of Assyrian Christianity, no matter what their religious background, knows this. It's Farid who puts the sins of the Roman Church on our shoulders, even though we never had anything to do with that Church. -Paul --------------------- |
