it's funny..they say confession is good for the soul...but I guess the truth isn't. While the boys ferret out everything that happened in 897 AD that can be to their advatage and when there is no way to justify their claims...which they think don't need verification because we're all "firneds" aren't we...as if helping a friend lie and deny the truth is an act of friendship...they at the same time want suppressed what's right HERE and NOW!

If we are going to ask the Turks, for instance,,,to come clean and admit their crimes...we should be ready to show the way by addmitting our own mistakes and crimes.

Now..to say the above will cause the boys to say I am giving aid and comfort to their "enemies"...as if the Turks don't ALREADY know what was done to their official and were waiting on ME to tell them...they know full well and what they see when they see us discussing this openly is a willingness to confront one's errors...in PRINCIPLE and not just when it suits us to point to THEIR errors....and since we are the minority...we will have to be the ones to be more intelligent and possibly also more honest since we can't impose anything anywhere...if the Turks see us come clean...maybe they will. But to continue our lies only gives them justification to continue theirs..IF they are lying.

No one said lies or cover-ups will set you free..and being Free isn't easy..in fact it's the hardest thing there is.

When Aprim says freedom isn't free...he means he expects OTHERS to pay the price for HIS freedom...we mean WE have to shoulder our own responsibilities...and go investigating ourselves to show by example what we mean...and what we want. So far all we want is revenge...and not directly either but by paying someone else to do it for us so Paul can have a clear conscience...his higher morality.
