I told you...had it NOT been for Rome you would have been killed as heretics. In EVERY group of people there are those lost souls looking around for something..but to say Assyrians freely chose to be Jews is slander of some sort...the truth is, in your case...you were always Jews...the Romans forced you to run out of Jerusalem...then they came back and almost killed you..unless you stayed under a rock...sought protection from Muslims OR played along with them. They didn`t have to force YOU because you were a Jew to begin with. But they sure as hell played with you, alternately killing you and incorporating you.
