>xxx The dog's too young to die.... She's not even in the prime of her life. There's nothing wrong with loving pets so much. If you have a big enough heart, you'll have room to love humans AND animals (including pets). The way a person behaves toward his/her pets or animals, in general, indicates a LOT about his/her personality.

...I don't WANT her to die...I don't want to have her killed either...jeez christ I've done everything I can to see she doesn't die...but if she does I'll eat her...as a celebration of Christianity.

>xxx Dog's don't fawn unless they're taught to. They're damned independent creatures when left on their own, and they are the most loyal companions anyone could have. There's a difference between loyalty and fawning. Where would blind people be if it weren't for dogs to help them around? Give the same job to a human, and the blind person would be robbed blind and left on the street to die.

..that's all true...except I have a Bloodhound/Boxer who will NOT stop slobbering all over me and I never taught her to do that, I don't like it when HUMANS do it...some dogs are slobbery by nature...several sound kicks have discourgaed the practice somewhat..it's her way of showing love, I know...but then I wouldn't bury my nose in the crotch of a woman I barely know and consider that just "my nature".

...if she was NOT a pet, there'd ne no reason for me to mind her slobbery ways...besides which there's a reason calling a person a dog has been fighting words for centuries...we don't say , you son of a horse...we say son of a bitch...dogs have this thing where they show themselves meek and mild and non threatening to your face, then run around and bark or nip at your back...very like Christians...I realize it's a defense mechanism well suited to their old days when they hunted in packs and any dog caught out alone had to say..."who me"? with body language...and then maybe get a good shot at whoever when they turned their back...but I feed the DAMN things and I've got Vet bills I wouldn't wish on anybody.

...and you should hear what she tells the neighbor cats about how she has you trained....besides, it's lying to you...cats lie all the time...that's why I like them.
