I`m told that Jesus was exceptional, for a Jew, in his willingness to associate with outcats..with the criminal, or insane..the prostitute and beggar...the dregs of society. This is indeed remarkable..but only because it was frowned upon by his deprepit culture. Had his culture frowned on chewing gum...you`d hardly make a religion of the guy for "defying" the entrenched system because he chewed gum...come on.

The fact that Hebrew society was the Lowly thing it was..as barbarous as it was..as backwards and the Hebrews prone to selling themselves into servitude periodically in order to eat..that they had a background of cannibalism and human sacrifice..that they were a punching bag of choice and crowned their horrendous ineptitude by saying this infamy was all a GIFT from their loving god...well, in that kind of society my maiden aunt could have been executed as a "dangerous" influence.

In Nineveh Jesus was a dime a dozen..I say that with no disrespect...but only among the Hebrews would a guy who tried to introduce a LITTLE compassion among people used to killing their own children when it didn`t rain, be considered "remarkable"...worthy of note...and even then the motherfuckers KILLED the guy!!!

THESE are "our" ancestors as well? hardly.
