As for The 12th Planet, here's a review of one of his books from amazon.com;

Zecharia Sitchen's The 12th Planet is the starting point on a quest that spans six books and 20 years worth of ancient aliens, genetic manipulation, and scrutiny of linguistic minutiae. If we trust Sitchen's translation abilities, we must be prepared for the imminent return of an alien race who created us some 3,600 years ago.

Dalale I realise that you may be young and impressionable but please don't lower us to this level. Sitchin's fictional work and theories are another way of putting down our ancestors.

What he's attempting to say is that our ancestors who were the Sumerians, Babylonians, Assyrians etc. were so incompetent, on their own, that it took an alien species to create civilisation. This from an AngloSaxon who was probably living in caves while we had invented maths, science, philosophy etc.

I realise the massive inferiority complex that you may have having seen nothing but talk from Assyrian old farts who demand triangles and rhombuses while 27,000 Assyrian Christian children died as a result of sanctions.

But don't tell me that our ancestors weren't good enough to create Western civilisation on their own. That's even worse than claiming that we were the rod of yawheh.com's anger and reading Psalm 137:8-9 in church.

Stay on your knees if you must but I feel like strecthing my legs after 2,000 years of slavery.
