..it amazes me that he would try the sleight of hand that comes from his sleight of mind in this "exposings" of Tiglath's nefarious ways...

Yes, she writes that the town was wiped, which could mean that it was destroyed, i.e. houses and so forth. This I say because she wrote that the kurds surrendered. There is no mention of massacring of women and children as Mr. Chibo claims falsely.

Here is the quote from Haddad's book:

"The Assyrians, under the leadership of Agha Petros were infuriated, and, during a heavy snow storm, Conasharay was besieged for three days and night. The battle of Conasharay was just hand-to-hand struggle. It has been called "the battle of revenge". Men of all ranks distinguished themselves, and, after many hours of fierce fighting, the Kurds were obliged to surrender. The entire town was wiped out by the angry Assyrians, although, unfortunately Simko had escaped."

David Chibo is not only making outrageous claims about kurds' origin and all that. He is also lying and twisting the facts and the the words of authors like Eva Haddad.

Fred

...Who is twisting? Everyone knows what "wiped out" means...as we all know what "destroyed all the houses" means...so did the author...that's why she used the first...because the village was wiped out...whenever anyone writes that the Native Americans of any village or tribe were wiped out in battle...they don't mean the United State's Cavalry burned their teepees to the ground..and left them all angrier than ever but alive to fight back...whatever complaint the Assyrians had against the Kurds to make them "destroy their houses"...the now homeless Kurds would be even MORE likely to threaten and maybe "destroy their houses" right back..and then what? Would the Assyrians then go back and "destroy their NEW houses"? And just as soon as they could rebuild them would the Kurds go back and destroy the recently re-built houses of the Assyrians? Is THIS the course of history..especially in that region?

..the smart one would be the Jew who owned the hardware store.

...how he could put so much hope..and think he had an excellent point in saying that "wiped out" COULD mean only the houses were destroyed...baffles me. It would have been better to admit the obvous and at least maintain some semblance of his claim to genius...but to hang everything on the hope that the rest of us are so stupid as to imagine the author meant all the houses were destroyed, when she could have SAID that without leaving it for Aprim to make it clear...well it just shows what the rest of his doodles are worth...it's almost too painful to bear...to watch the guy up there onstage making such an ass of himself..you wonder if he ever had any friends who tried to mildly correct him and save him from being such an egregious ass when he was growing up stupid...
