someone at beth said Armenians collected on life insurance policies owed to the next of kin of Armenians who died in Turkey during their "Gulf War" in 1918.

Zak correctly pointed out this only applied because those Armenians had BOUGHT life insurance the companies thought they could weasle out of...it was not in any way an indemnity offered to dead people for being killed.

But of course that point was lost on "Assyrians". A few boys came on to say that THEY must file claims...and one said he was "sure" Assyrian businessmen in Turkey MUST have been insured etc. Then...to round things out at the bottom...another boy said this:

The bottom line is that the Genocide, whether it be Armenian, Syrian Assyrian, etc. was acknowledged in a financial ruling.

...I`d venture to say the word "Genocide" never came up once in the court transcripts. It didn`t matter to the court HOW the people died...so long as it was a valid insurance CLAIM. This boy prefers to think that the court PUNISHED someone...who?...the insurance company???..for this "genocide" claim the boys STILL put out.

...All the court did was uphold insurance law..it made no comment and had no authority to make any judgement and wasn`t ASKED to recognize any "genocide".

Now its up to the powers that be to build off of this ruling and cluster off to let it be known that not only Armenians were killed but so many other nationalities were invloved.

...here you see an Opportunist at work..and can see how stupid they make themselves to get whatever they can..and how dumb they think the rest of us should be...and how fervently these forums of their`s LOOK for dumb Assyrians who will now write letters to the insurance company accusing it of covering up their policies against genocides by refusing to admit they owe boys some badly needed money.

...the ruling had absolutely nothing to do with recognizing a "genocide"...Armenian or anyone else`s. The ruling merely stated that the insurer would have to make good on the policy bought...that`s all.

Also, if possible get Turkey to claim it ever even happened, that is even a tougher task.

...because no genocide happened. What happned was nothing more than the war the Europeans brought to Turkey having "unfortunate things happen"...ask Aprim, he knows. And why would Turkey admit such a thing when no other nation will own up to their own manifest crimes....especially the United States? You "wonder" why the United States won`t support you in your ridiculous claim? Because the United States is even MORE guilty of these crimes than Turkey was.

..If you PAY politicians enough, they will mention Mickey Mouse in Congress...but they will NOT demand anything from Turkey...anything they know can be thrown back in their own face. Afro-Americans certainly can take heart from rulings that a COUNTRY and Corporations can be forced to pay for slave labor..as several American and European firms were forced to pay Jew slaves they used during their World wars...and THAT has Washington plenty scared.

Once again you merely seek an opportunity to get something you in no way deserve...you`ll just have to earn your money..or play another kind of Lotto

Does anyone know what will be done with the twenty million that was awarded to the victims next of kin or family members?

...yes...they plan to give it all to you to make up for your fat head.
