...Dear Ken,

....My answers are below.

Dear David,

Could you also explain a little to me why you would use the Bible?

....People in glass houses shouldn't through stones. I was attempting to show that the "Holy" Bible that we use today refers to pleasing a Jewish God by dashing the heads of our Babylonian children onto rocks. There is nothing you can do or say that can reconcile this religion with our identity.

I must admit I am puzzled as to your meaning.

It sounds like you are saying The Bible is as bad as the Koran. I am sure I must

be misunderstanding that, but please let me know, ok?

......Actually in regards to our Assyrian and Babylonian identity and people the Koran is much more tolerant than the Bible. The Koran quote that your so-called Islamic experts have provided for you, "When you see an infidel you are to kill him," refers to non-believers, and NOT people of the book, which Islam calls Christians and Jews. Furthermore Mohammad actually provided a declaration in which he guaranteed the protection of Nestorians.

.....So to sum things up contrary to ignorant belief the Bible wants our children's heads dashed on rocks while Mohammad explicilty issued an order protecting Nestorians.

I do not understand all the deep and hidden meanings of it all.

.......Then why are you so eager to misquote the Koran and misrepresent the Muslims?

Being in Iraq and going back shortly and having been in much of the Middle East,

having met both President Sadat and the Shah of Iran before they died it is very

clear to me that the people do not want to be under any kind of moslem law.

I had a good talk with one of the inmans and asked him if you took away the

force of law which is always used to impose the moslem religion how many

people would continue to be moslem.

He laughed and said maybe 5%.

........I had a talk with one of our Bishops and asked him how many Assyrians would still come to church if they realised that the God they worship every Sunday is pleased with the dashing of the heads of their children onto rocks? He laughed and said maybe 4.9%.

.....Finally Psalm 137:8-9 is still read out in our Syrian Orthodox church services up to this very day in lishana atiqua, of course they don't want us to realise what they're really saying. I'm just saying that we should first see the beam in our own eye before we point out the splinter in our brother's eye.

.....Tawdie saggi,

Tiglath
