...you could have made a better selection of words...anyway, you`re the one who said they were just waiting to pounce...

...They seem to assume I`m up on Christian sillies...how come I can`t assume they know anything substantive? Put MORE substance in my posts??? I just got through calling their religion crap...when you tried that with us we knew just what to do. Instead I got wished, "a nice day".

Start at the basics and don't assume everyone knows who the hell Gilgamesh or Sidhuri were.

...Like I should care what some fucking rabbi said???

...well now there you have the basic differnece with what happens to us when we go back to our own culture and beliefs...we come out swinging and are EAGER to confront and answer ALL questions put to us...you dweebs, on the famous other hand, have shown us time and again that if we post ten questions and raise five potentially interesting topics to explore...we MIGHT get two answers, starting and ending in "Jesus" and the topics for exploration will go completely unheeded...in other words you guys aren`t exactly mental giants so where`s the attraction? The very fact that we have to go to YOU tells us about the kinds of intrepid intellects you have over there...where`s the attraction for us???

...Look at how long it took you to grow into it? The first two times you ventured out with us...out in the open...you ran off in a snit that we weren`t "listening"...which meant, to you, that we HAD to become convinced by the smarmy malarkey you were peddliing or else we were not "open".

...How many of you people do we have to educate...how hard do we have to work just to get you able to stand up and out in the open like you REALLY believed what you claim you do? Look at yourself...you refused to discuss the core beliefs, the VERY core beliefs of your religion but needed "time" because you feared ridicule...those were your words not mine....which of us needs time? Which of us is afraid of your ridicule? When haven`t we INSISTED and DEMANDED that you give us your best shot?

...After two years you`re almost able to take it...we don`t run a service here. If you have such intellectual lions over there tell them to put their pants on and tackle some real stuff for a change...what does it matter what the EXACT word for "cream cheese" was back then?

...The Jews were nearly wiped out 60 years ago thanks to Christianity...Europe was turned into an abbatoir thanks to Christianty a few centuries ago...go to any beach anywhere in the world today and realize that the Church would have burned those women wearing bathing suits at the stake just a few centuries ago...look over at the Middle East and you realize they`re gearing up for another Holocaust..of Muslims this time and they just got off to a great start by killing one third as many innocent children as the Nazis managed to do...and then consider that a "real" Christian hides behind their skirts and pays them and prays to them and votes for them to do MORE...do that and you might drop the kind of "scholarship" that seeks the correct word with the proper inflection and from the same region and in the same idiom as "to drown" as the Titanic sinks beneath his feet.

No one has a desire to gorw cobwebs in the 21st century when we have every reason to fear for the safety of the planet...for all of these reasons a site where we can discuss the fine points of Corinthians seems a little unappealing...like what`s to be gained?

I`m willing to try to rouse the intellectually dead a few more times...but it`s hardly been an impressive show so far.
