....news that attacks are being carried out against the Green Zone has dashed ZOWAAS latest plan for guaranteeing the security of Christians in Iraq. The plan called for Christians to paint themselves green and get into a "zone defense". This goes the same way as the plan to rush north and demand "what is coming to you". Leaders are at a loss what to try next...but not for long. Something is bound to work sooner or later. Who would have thought those bad old days under Saddam would appear so differently now...after looking at "democracy" through an American gunsight?

Bombers Strike Baghdad's Green Zone Again
(AP) - A suicide car bomber killed seven people at a Green Zone checkpoint early Tuesday, the second attack in two days near the same gate into the district that houses Iraq's interim government and the U.S. Embassy, officials said. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ayad Allawi said the trial of some of Iraq's former Baath Party leaders will begin next week. He didn't say that Saddam Hussein would be among them.
