"What kind of mixed audiences did we have and is there a follow up to come.

"The most interesting as far as I am concerned would the measurements that are to be adopted for any one task."

Hi Fil:

If you recall, it was last August 7th [Yumat Sahdi t' Semele] that I had an opportunity to briefly explore the rudiments of implementation of Interim Committee Government of Assyria (ICGA).

Since then, an exploratory patronizing policy was being circulated in Los Angeles, Modesto Valley and the Bay Area.

...I don't think he meant "patronizing"...a patronizing policy would be a policy meant to pat people on the head for their foolishness...unless?

Last Sunday, July 17th, for the first time a discussion and a debate took place at the AAASC of Los Angeles, in front of a small audience, that had dared to detract itself from the the Assyrian Church of the East Banquet Dinner,

...why would people detract themselves? To detract is to "take away from"..but not in the sense he means...perhaps he meant to say "distance" themselves...I know he means they didn't go along with the church...but it's an awkward usage and if he wants to really do anything...he has to go out into the world..and if he does it with this kind of garbled language, it only convinces people that his ideas are at least as garbled..and, of course, they are!

In his case, as with so many boys, poor language skills and not CARING about it, is a reelction of the same attitude towards the ideas CONTAINED in that language...ideas every bit as off...as garbled...as imprecise...but more than that, what really stinks is that in neither instance, not with the words chosen OR the ideas, do they CARE!

...as Beth Shlimon said..it is important to TALK..if nothing else...when just talking is that important...what difference does it make WHAT you say?

coincidentally scheduled about the same time.

...this is indeed a dirty little trick they all play...as soon as one bunch hears that another bunch is throwing a party, they go and throw two of their own for the SAME day and time...more of the mealy-mouthed tactics they have for fighting each OTHER!

Not even a hundred people showed up, but it was not disparaging,

...here again...I don't think he mean "disparaging"...he meant to say "discouraging"...but so what...right? Disparaging has an unfortunate truth contained in it, in regards to his entire effort...as in he brings disparagement to the name of "Assyria" by these foolish antics.

since the attendees sat through the whole process and participated in the discussion and the debate of invoking an International Lobby Worldwide, based on the Charter of ICGA.

...probably nothing on teevee that night.

Two voices out of some 65 were projecting negative points of view at the initial stages however both had reconciled their thoughts at the end of the discussion, which lasted for 2 hours.

..we too are reconciled...as in we give up and accept our fate...one reconciles oneself to death and other disasters...

The next stage is to be set in the Modesto Valley Area, only to be followed by the Bay Area, most probably in San Jose, sometime in October.

...you do that...you take your show on the road...that's good.

At the same time, one more session of presentation and discussion is going to be scheduled for Los Angeles, to be followed within 30 days with the first ever Elections for the Los Angeles Offices. All this is to be accomplished not later than November of this year.

...we are breathless...we are eager to see what diclarations YOU come up with then...isn't this fun?

The hope is that Canada follows in the footsteps of the USA, and undertakes this rather simple yet, productive project seriously and begins its implementation with a couple of seminars, to be followed with the Elections for Canada. It will be much easier for Canada, since most of the Assyria Community is around the Metropolitan Area of Toronto, so one set of elections in that city shall result in finite resolution of garnering officials to fill the offices recommended in the Charter of ICGA of Canada.

...indeed...than you can add your mad voices to the others.

More international contacts are to be made to Sweden, Australia, France, Lebanon and Iran in the next few weeks, if not months.

..lucky them.

Time is of essence, since we should have the foundation of ICGA completed prior to the next Elections scheduled in Iraq.

...like it's going to make any difference.

This is A COMPLEMENT and not a DETRIMENT of our brethren in Iraq.

..sure it is...just what they needed..one more "organization" justifying this brutal war on a civillian population...you have managed to kill ar more Christians than died in Simele...the survivors can' wait.

We have to draw the attention of World Governments to our national impasse in Iraq, and to fortify the efforts of all the work our brethren along with their organizations have been following for the past three decades.

..you have to continue to play office...to write nonsense and spread it...you have no way in hell of making the slightest dent in Iraq...except to cheer on its destruction..no one Iraq, Christian and Muslims wants to hear a single word from you..you are all playing with people's lives for kicks and because you get to chair a table.

No matter what nomenclature or denomination our brethren might decide to follow up their national paths in Iraq, they are still our brethren, and we have no choice, but to come to their aid.

...more of your ais should get them all killed. They prospered in Iraq UNTIL you came with your "aid".

Measurements to be adopted are meticulously to follow up with our demands on behalf of national rights of Assyria in Iraq,

...you putz. Christians in Iraq have repeatedly said they want you people OUT of Iraq..you are using their misery...brought on by you, to give yourselves something to do...on nights when there isn't anything on teevee.

by lobbying World Governments and World Legislative, Executive and Legislative bodies under the title of the Government of Assyria. Yes, THE GOVERNMENT, rather than association or society.

...Jesus! I can just see the incredulous reception these letters and petitions in government offices will get...how embarrassing for us all.
