...where in the world is there a safe haven? Did the Iraqis have a safe haven? They had a country...so did the Palestinians...so did the Native Americans...were they safe there...who has a safe haven? Who has their freedom and security "guaranteed" by anybody? If you need a safe haven it means you aren't safe...if you aren't safe then what's a "guarantee" worth?

Do Americans in inner cities have a safe haven? Does the Middle Class have anything guarenteed them? What are Firas and Peter and the rest of these clucks talking about? Where did they get the idea from? Who has a safe haven? Do the Israelis have one? Did the people of Manhattan have one?

Seems to me like the flip side of Pity....

Not only are the Iranian people facing the same turmoil with this pretext of nuclear enrichment...we already know Bush will make up whatever he needs...but now Powell says Syria could do "more" about Iraq...what's that supposed to mean?

Since when did allowing foreigners to overrun your own country and bomb you from the air...starve your children and ruin your economy become things you MUST NOT fight against? How did this become the new norm? Why SHOULDN'T Palestinians, Iranians, Syrians and Iraqis resent and resent like hell, attacks against their sovereignty? Seems to me we're creating a whole new set of "normal" behaviors for people...that we're imposing a new way to be Human on people...it can only backfire badly...oh well. Pass the stuffing.
