Dear Ken,

I'll make it very simple. The Middle East contains the world's strategic oil reserves and hence the world's economy. The Biritsh before them and the US now will do anything to prevent the sovereign nations of the Middle East from obtaining their legitimate democratic rights.
Israel has been rightly described by Jewish American Professor Noam Chomsy the "attack dog" of the US. They serve the interests of the corporate hijacked US government in ensuring that the US maintains its hegemony and the US companies make billions in this manufactured "war on terror" and the current illegal invasion of Lebanon.
Israel is fighting for the share price of the companies that have hijacked the US.
We've been promised much since 1915 by agents such as Wigram who conincedently was not a real priest but managed to convince our tribes to join the allies against the Ottoman Empire. Each promise has cost us more and left us traitors in our own lands. We've finally come to the conclusion that we don't necessarily want our own country an administartive region where we can be guaranteed freeedom of religion and culture is the only way we can live in peace with our Arab Moslem brothers as well as ensure that we aren't used by the West to further their own economic interests. Israel is to be pitied, a pariah state surrounded by angry neighbours who will have long memories.
My respect and support for Hezbollah have grown leaps and bounds. They have defeated the US-Israel government both militarily, politicaly andd moraly.
