Dear Maggie :

Sorry to say, please don't try to lecture me , I am glad that you know those things, but I don't know them only, I am able to criticize them and find mistakes in them , and what I mean , while YOU PEOPLE don't believe in the BIBLE , coming and arguing me by quoting the BIBLE.

The BIBLE is FULL of mistakes, a case in point, ELAMITES are not SEMITIC people and the same for LUD .

The CANAANITES are not HEMITIC people , but SEMITIC one like us.

I could go on and on to the RUBBISH which the JEWISH people create to tarnish our history and glorify themselves.

Now, you are mixing things while we are speaking about the ASSYRIAN nation and how we were assimilated to become ARABIZED and ISLAMIZED, and comparing our language with Arabic , here is not the SUBJECT, if you do that there is more similarity with the HEBREW in language wise, and it seems your examples which you put them down are not yours and I will tell you why:

You said in our language Camel which is Gamla , you said in Arabic Camela , which is wrong the Arabic language is ' JAMAL '.

In any event, what is the bottom line from your thinking, DO YOU MEAN WE ARE SPEAKING ARABIC AND WE ARE ARABS? OR Do you think everyone is speaking ASSYRIAN and that include the Arabs and all are Assyrians ? PLEASE CLARIFY YOUR POINT OF VIEW, but keep in mind that in our world there are many family of languages , but they DON'T CONSTITUTE one nation, a case in point , the Italian. the Spanish languages are very close to each other which are derived from LATIN, but these two people are not one nation.

The same could be said about us as Assyrians no matter how close our language is with the Arabic, DOESN'T MAKE ARABS ASSYRIANS and vise versa the ASSYRIAN to be Arabs.

In conclusion, let me agree with you for a moment that there is a very strong relation between us and the Arabs, my question to you was and will be COULD YOU TELL ME HOW the majority in MESOPOTAMIA became speaking Arabic language and their religion became ISLAM, do you thing that process was very peacefully and smooth or it was paid a heavy price for it JUST ANSWER without giving me HISTORY LESSONS and kindly don't change the SUBJECT please.
