The important thing to remember about the Assyrians is this: Assyrians DEMAND many things but are not willing to work for them, and when they don't get them, they blame it on everyone else but themselves. When Dr. Freidun Attouraya, Farid's grandfather, and other Assyrian doctors and intellectuals were working to solve the Assyrian problem, during and after the genocide, other Assyrians were working against their efforts, having been bought out by the British. Assyrians will NEVER have anything, because to them being saved from SIN is more important than being saved by their own self-inflicted tragedies. Who can help a people who are so engrossed in their own self-destruction? Even if we give Assyrians a thousand and one messiahs, they will remain standing in their own dung. The best anyone can do is to educate their children and TRY to reverse the psychological damage and spiritual corruption the parents keep causing them. The funny thing is if Jesus ever came back, would any Assyrian recognize him? Would anyone know what he is supposed to look like, or be like, or act like? Would anyone care about his repeated murder and self-sacrifice? Or would they CRUCIFY him all over again? Knowing how Assyrians LOVE martyrs, and work harder than any people on earth to manufacture them as quickly as they kill them, you should know the answer to that question! If it isn't Freiudoon Attouraya, or Dr. Parhad, or jesus himself, it will be someone else they will betray and call a spy, a traitor, a sinner! --------------------- |
