>>>Now let me ask you this: You don't believe Saddam's stooge, Yonadam Kanna, who has publicly been named in Iraq as a Baathy agent/informer, and whom former Zowaa big whigs have fingered as an informer to Saddam, and they claim was the one responsible for the betrayal of the former Zowaa leadership, Yousip and Youbert, and the cause of their execution, would he NOT have been capable of informing on someone like Sargon Dadesho, his mortal enemy? It's not that far-fetched to me. That's my opinion in a nut shell! If Yonadam Kanna delivered Yousip and Youbert, the original founders of Zowaa, to Saddam, in exchange for a leadership position of the Assyrian Democratic party, and to gain favor with Saddam, he is capable of doing anything!
>>
>>..okay...now these are YOUIR rumors...I know nothing about them..."
>
>That's the trouble. You don't know THE WHOLE STORY. You just hear what people tell you, and you are far removed from the Assyrian community. You don't read Arabic so that you can see what's going on in the new Iraqi government.

...and you can`t read English apparently...I said...the story about the assissination attempt is DADEESHOOS story...not MINE. Therefore, I`m not the one who has to produce any FACTS. I am merely asking you if YOU believe it...and so far you`ve danced to Africa and back without answering.
>
>"but I am willing to admit that all these skunks are capable of any sort of underhanded dealings...why are YOU sidestepping this issue? It is very simple..and you`ve addressed everything else BUT this one, simple question....or maybe not...maybe you`ve answered it."
>
>I have answered it. That is my opinion, and I have stated it. If you don't like my opinion, that's one thing. But it is MY opinion, period!

...you have not even addressed it...do you think we are all stupid? I know an answer when I see one and I know a dodge when it`s repeated over and over...once AGAIN: Do you believe there was an assassination attempt on Dadeeshoo...ordered by Saddam? A simple yes or no will do...stop shooting fireworks out your armpits...just answer....and if you`re going to claim again that you answered already...indulge me, I`m old and doddering...tell me AGAIN.
>>>
>>>Was that good enough of an opinion for you, Farid?
>>
>>...sure...but not the one I asked for.

>If the case went to court, as you say, then there must have been enough evidence to convict the man.

...you mean you don`t even know that the case went to court!!!??? Are you serious? What language do YOU read in?

You can't convict a man in this country based on rumors. He served a sentence, and got out. Then he died.....Karma, perhaps? That's why I leave things to ASHUR!

...who served a sentence...who got out? What does this have to do with Dadeeshoo and the alleged plot to kill him? Are you even on the same TOPIC??? For the love of right reason and the English AND Arabic language..we are NOT talking about the murder of Marshimmon...we are talking about the ALLEGED attempt to assassinate DADEESHOO...a hit supposedly ordered by Saddam..it is what Dadeeshoo CLAIMED...not me! Are you feeling okay?
>>>>
>>>>.."think before you answer...I`ll admit there are several traps waiting for you...so at least give it your best shot and be prepared to defend as vigorously as you expect others to."
>>>
>>>Farid, you couldn't trap if you tried! What others defend is not worthy of my time. It's based on old grudges and deeply-rooted hatred, kind of like clansmen fighting against one another to see who will be the first to wipe out as many Assyrians as possible off the face of the earth.
>>
>>...they are doing a good enough job themselves...they don`t need help.
>
>Exactly my point!
>>>
>>>It is an interesting case study though, your obsession with Sargon Dadesho, that is. I would like very much to know what he has done to you, if you wouldn't mind sharing it with us.
>>
>>...not a thing...other`s have done worse...and I could care less...this not personal....as I told you about Narsai...friendship is one thing...the rest is another subject. Dadeeshoo markets himself to the DETRIMENT of Assyrians...he may, like candy, provide some brief and instant gratification for people utterly starved and devoid of sense or hope....but he does so at the cost of keeping them infantile and deluded...as the church does...I could easily make a "star" of myself..I am far better looking and charming and pretty AND, I can actually DO something...but that would only raise me in my own eyes...by keeping Assyrians barefoot and pregnant...I would far rather make it so that several Assyrians can surpass me....I want them to think of me as very little...not make a national shmuck and icon of me..it is not their value as a doting sudience or fans or followers that I want...I want them to go BEYOND me...which would be death to Dadeeshoo and the rest...for this reason I seek to "expose" him...which merely means show the true caliber and measure of the man..I can give him all the credit he deserves, as I do Narsai and myself...but I`ll ALSO cut and trim away the self-seeking lies and distortions....as I would not want ANYONE to fool a child of mine, thereby stunting their intellectual development.
>>
>>Dadeeshoo may be good, for the moment...but it is not the moment I am thinking of. Right NOW you are benefitting yourtself and the people who watch and hear you....that is for THIS moment...tomorrow you may leave. What has been built that REMAINS..or that can be built upon? What does Dadeeshoo signify...REALLY? What does Narsai mean...really? And...what do I mean...really?
>
>I always look at things logically. If Dadesho or anyone else markets himself, it's up to the people to see through it. They are just as responsible for making heroes out of people. Their's is half of the responsibility for making icons of Dadesho and anyone else. All you can do is teach your children to see through things and judge for themselves, by searching for the truth and basing their decisions on facts, not personalities or rumors. George Bush and his neo-cons lie to the American public everyday, and market themselves. Most of the American people believe in their lies, because they don't search for the truth. Philosophically speaking, who's fault is it? My answer is BOTH.

...I agree...never said any different...but that still isn`t the point...I`m not speaking philosophically here...I`m dealing with ONE question...and it has everything to do with Dadeeshoo...later we can address the question of why people would believe him...but for right now...I`m asking you, again..if YOU believe Saddam sent agents to Ceres to kill Dadeeshoo...remember, this is what Dadeeshoo claims...not ME! Can YOU see through it...or not?
>
>You can try to expose people all you want, and still you'll have half of the population believe you, and the other half not. Everyone must search for the truth on their own. No one can spoon feed it to the masses.

...I`m not feeding anyone...I`m setting out to bring the issue of his fake doctorate as far out in the open as it needs to be brought for the rat bastard to sue me..or admit, by his silence, that he`s been lying about his doctorate. I AM searching this truth out on my own...I already KNOW no one was sent to kill the petty little fuck...I just asked YOU if you believed his story..it is Dadeeshoos story, NOT MINE.
>
>Tigath's case is a perfect example of this. Half of the Assyrian population believes in the Mar Melis camp, the other half follows Ashur Soro. Trying to change the opinion of either camp is a losing battle. They must rely on facts to get to the truth. What the court decides at the end of the trial will be based on facts, and that is the outcome everyone must accept, just like the Dadesho case.

...all sorts of court cases are decided wrong...facts are often lies or distorted and justice is not what is served...and for people to KNOW both sides, both sides need to be told...and it IS significant that the church and lawyers would be involved in what was so blatantly a ponzi scheme...real harm was done here...your attitude is no different than one who says that the victim of rape should have known better than to wear a short skirt..that SHE must share the blame for her rape...well there ARE such things as meek and mild and slightly greedy or maybe just desperate people in Assria, many of them elderly and living on fixed incomes who perhaps wanted a last chance at a vacation of their dreams or to help out their kids or do something special for a grandchild, and so they were "ripe" for the plucking....does that mean it is entirely THEIR fault that someone they were taught to trust lies to them...repeatedly, in order to fleece them? Seems to me you`d never be a champion of such laissez faire if we were talking about consumer fraud...which this IS!

Somewhere in Stanislaus County, a jury of Dadesho's peers decided there was a man that tried to kill him, and based on evidence they convicted that man, end of story!

...That`s not the way I remember the story...are you saying they CAUGHT someone...sent from IRAQ...by SADDAM...who tried to kill him..on orders from SADDAM???
>
>You must accept it, or else you are now questioning the judicial system of this land. If you are, then you must have evidence to the contrary to prove your case.

...stuff and nonsense...but if the court transcripts can be found...we`ll go over the case bit by bit.
>
>I rest my case. Your trap is over.

...not really...you just stated that whatever a court has decided must be accepted...thank god that has not been the case every time..or we`d be in even worse shape. And merely because no evidence exists to the contrary does not mean the contrary was not the case...

...you still didn`t say YOU believed it...which was my question to you. You must have some special reason to dance around so damn much...we will respect it.
