My last reply to this, NOT because it isn't interesting, because you do make GOOD points, it's just that it's such a beautiful weekend and I DON'T want to waste my time discussing Zowaa and AIDS. I have made a huge pot of dolma and I'm going to spend the day eating it with my family, and need a rest from your poundings.

Let it be known to ALL the Assyrian people, not just you, that I don't have a political axe to grind with ANY Assyrian political organization, even though I think they are ALL dysfunctional.

I just have two questions for you:

1) What were the AIDS cans doing in Zowaa hands?

I wasn't the president of AAASC at the time, and you are right, they should have explored the truth about who is what, but it was the Zowaa people who came to the association to hold a rally and to give us AIDS cans to distribute and do fundraiser for AIDS. Naturally, we thought nothing of it, because we DID NOT have anything against Zowaa or AIDS, and we were only too glad to help them gather money and distribute aid to garbia. This shows that we were operating on good faith, and they weren't.

If the Zowaa people are holding the AIDS cans in their hands, wouldn't you assume that the two organizations are connected, related, and even might be the same?

You know the old phrase, "if it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, by golly it must be a duck"!!!!

2) Where is the responsibility of the AIDS people in all this? Shouldn't they be careful who they hand their cans to?

Impressions are just as powerful as words. If you don't want people to "assume" something, it is YOUR responsibility to make the decision NOT to give the wrong impression.

And the Zowaa people holding the cans in their hands makes my point!!!

It was just a civilized request born of some confusion...like your comment that AIDS is a part of ZOWAA...something you STILL haven't backed up except to say, in the best Aprim style..."I just KNOW it is". You can see why discerning minds would be confused."

Is it not our reponsibility to poke around a LITTLE? When does someone think for HERSELF? You have NO obligation to verify anything? You're just a receptacle for whatever anyone wants to dump into you? I didn't realize you were THAT naive.

>..."to DISTRIBUTE"...to disFUCKINGtribute! No one denies...not Narsai, not anyone, that ZOWAA had the personnel on the ground back then to DISTRIBUTE what AIDS sent...how in the name of all that is holy do you get..."ZOWAA tells AIDS what and how and when to GATHER"????
>
>...does it not appear MORE likely that AIDS USES ZOWAA??? The effort originates OUTSIDE of Iraq...the ZOWAA people can sit at the Baghdad airport or at the borders and twiddle their thumbs all day long for all the good they will do...they are DEPENDENT on AIDS to do the work FIRST...the AIDS people must first GET something before ZOWAA can distribute anything...no?
>>
>>When my friend Kenny was doing the fashion show for AIDS in Arizona, he was also told it was a fundraiser for Zowaa. In fact, when the flyer came out about the fashion show it plainly stated that it was a fundraiser for Zowaa.
>
>...there are any number of people using AIDS to further shore up ZOWAA's claim that it and ONLY it gets the job done...AIDS membership is open to EVERYONE...that means people dedicated to ZOWAA can join, so can transexuals and Queers...and since THEY are also a part of ZOWAA....people like you rush to ASSUME that means AIDS must be ZOWAA too...there were thousands of FBI agents in the American Communist Party...does that mean the Communist Party is part of the FBI???
>>
>>So what is so horrible about me saying AIDS does fundraisers for Zowaa, or even to say AIDS is part of Zowaa?
>
>...what's admirable in telling the truth? Or in being thorough...or rigorous, rather than open to everything "someone says"? AIDS does fundraisers for the people of Iraq...never mind stroking their own balls right now...that ZOWAA distributes it and therefore gets the shared gratitude of the people on the ground...whose only contact with AIDS is THROUGH the people of ZOWAA who hand the stuff over to them personally... is more than understandable.... that people would come to see them as one! Isn't that what YOU'VE done? And you're right here...where you could VERIFY it...if you wanted to...instead of gleefully believe it...which you obviously NEED to do.
>
>...Narsai made a point when we had our art foundation of saying over and over that we had NO political axe to grind...and he feels the same way now...it is to his credit that, knowing how people are bandying about this misinformation which you seem only too glad to believe,,,saying he has a lot to "answer for"...that he keeps on slugging.
>>
>>>>>... Why can't you tell me all over again...it isn't like you never repeat yourself...weren't you the one who said people who "dish it out should be able to take it"...whassamatter, your dish not big enough?
