...your creepy notion that you are "Assyrians" will fade away...amen.

***I dont understand why you hate Assyrians and the Assyrian name.

..where did you ever get that idea? Show me ONE of you who has built ANYTHING anywhere...just one. And I don`t mean singing to your own chorus or smelling your own farts. I mean in the WORLD! Someone who "hates" Assyrians would hardly have spent 30 years and hundreds of thousands of his own dollars to create Assyrian sculpture...or to built two public monuments...one in San Francisco and one that should have gone to Chicago but will now be in California as well. These are not the acts of someone who "hates"..let alone hates the Assyrian Heritage.

@@@ Many Assyrians throughout history have contributed to their culture and I’m sure the community appreciates all you have done for them. I met a young aspiring wonderfully talented Assyrian/Lebanese artist named Ninos Shamo at the convention once who I can envision creating paintings and statues of all sorts in the future. So, you are not the first nor will you hopefully be the last.

..you people are freeloaders thinking to grab some glory to brighten up your shabby history on this earth as Christians, where you`ve managed to do nothing more than make beggars of your children..for the greater glory of whom? Ashur or Jesus? I spent 30 years trying to wipe the Assyrian name CLEAN from the Jewish rot and filth you people have heaped upon it, till our own children can`t stand to be near us.

@@@ Religion does not change a person’s ethnicity. I could become a follower of Yahweh, Allah, and Ashur all at once and still be an Assyrian, if I am Assyrian. The Old Testament is like any history book which is written from a certain perspective, that doesn’t mean some of it is not inspired by divinity, and merits some of our consideration. For example I found the prophecy of Nahum to be interesting because I could see within it a mirror image of what the Assyrian nation is facing and experiencing today. That should not hurt Assyrians ...nor the injured Lion. Rather awaken them to their responsibilities to their people and Nation. In regards to the Old Testament, most of it was written by men, for men, with a deeply ingrained patriarchal mentality. This explains why women in the Old Testament days were considered property of males and why Hebrew had to work, cook, clean, and God forbid they could not bare children, then they were useless, while they were not allowed to read the Talmud or Tanak let alone become priests, because that was their husbands jobs, as their sole responsibility was to spend the whole day in the Temple and learn about Yahweh. It is a surprise the Old Testament compilers included the book of Queen Ester!

***It seems you sir are the heretic, as you previously called me in your message.

...there you go again...whoever doesn`t agree with you is a traitor, an enema and now a heretic too. Since I don`t believe a word of your tripe, how can I be a heretic...what is my heresy? Neither you nor Jesus are not the star I set my course by, therefore I can`t be said to deviate from your "guiding light". I have my own beliefs...they are not heresies but my own beliefs...and while the friggin fathers of the Church may snuggle up to you and you may all rent a house by the sea and live happily ever after...you can count on it that no ASSYRIAN would give you the time of day...I sail by the light of Ashur to which YOU are the heretic...and thank goodness too...the Jews have more uses for you than Assyrians do.

@@@ The Roman Catholic Church just apologized to Galileo a few years ago for calling him a heretic, and for killing him, for supposedly being a heretic. Heretic means “A dissenter from established religious dogma; especially : a baptized member of the Roman Catholic Church who disavows a revealed truth.” These same anti-heretics or as I call them destroyers of Individuality slaughtered the Cathars “pure ones” because they were a religious movement of Gnostic elements hence "heretics" as Nestorius was labbeled because he believe that Jesus was a man who became Christ through his works and because the light of God abided in him.

P.S My favourite quote by Galileo, “The Bible shows how to go to heaven not how the heavens go!”
