Dear Ashur,

Would youplease answer YES or NO to the following questions:

1. Are you saying that you are unaware of your long 5,000 year-old history in which your people have been known by numerous names starting from Urukian, Sumerian, Ammorite, Akkadian, Babylonian, Chaldean, Assyrian, Arab and Kurd?

2. Are you saying that our people were never known as Arabs under Abbaysid rule?

3. Are you telling us that you are willing to identify with every one of the above identities EXCEPT for Kurd and Arab?

4. Are you telling us that Mustafa Barzani, was not a member of the Tkhuma tribe who became Kurdish when he adopted Islam and left the ACOE?

5. Are you telling us that if people change religion that their genetic makeup is also altered?

6. Do you not proudly call yourself an American to others when you travel overseas?

7. Do you think you have a religously based sense of identity that is laughed at by the rest of secular world?

Tawdie,
Tiglath
