As for me being a traitor if revealing the truth and exposing corruption is being a traitor then I gladly follow in the footsteps of Jesus himself who kicked the money lenders out of the temple."

>***The Assyrian Church of the East, the most Apostolic Church of today, does not shy away from questions. I find that all the questions I have ever asked of bishops and priests have been addressed with haste.

%%% Try asking Mar Meelis why he came up with the froggy namee, why he owned 5% of froggy shares, why he drove a KSE company car, why he allowedd Fr Ashur Lazar to act as a KSE agent, why he invested in the name of his brother David Zaia and withdrew 2 months before it collapsed, why he continues to have one of the main ring leaders - Fred David - act as the ACOE's lawyers in Sydney? And don't take my word for it, ask your own father who was the Melbourne representative. He openly confirmed everything I published with the disclaimerr that I never tell anyone that he supported my article.

No bishop is vying for a position of authority. They are all servants in the Church of God. This competition which you think is happening does not exist. You have not exposed any corruption and you have not revealed any truth. You have caused only division and hatred. No good has come from your actions. Your vendetta against His Grace Mar Meelis Zaia is not because you want to expose any corruption (which does not exist by the way), it is deeper than that. It is very deep. Your ulterior motives are known and go beyond your notions of truth, corruption and investigative-journalism but are very deep and center on something much bigger than the Church of the East. And please don't fashion yourself as a modern day Jesus - you are far from it.

%%% My "vendetta" was against everyone involved in the swindling of 2,000 Assyrians who believed in their community and religous leaders and supported the fraudster Karl Suleman. My first article focussed on no-one in particular but revealed the truth about everyone. Period. How was I supposed to know that Mar Meelis would be foolish enough to allow Suzy and Fred David to use $20,000 worth of church money to pretend to sue me in NSW? And if revealing the truth is causing divison and hatred, as you call it then we were never united to begin with.

>"I don't think we'll debate this point any longer as you have clearly conceded that no evidence exists to prove that our people were the first to accept Christianity."
>
>***I have no conceded anything. I have stated that religious scholars and academics who ARE NOT on the pay-roll of the Assyrian Church of the East have attested to the fact that the Assyrians converted in Edessa. There exists artworks from the 10th century and older which are in Sinai depicting this.

%%% The scholars all refer to a legend. A legend is not actually fact. The artists have been inspired by that very same legend to create their artwork.

>
>"The religion that had been followed by our ancestors for thousands of years simply had the names of its holidays, and prophets changed. Ishtar and Tammuz's resurrection during the Spring Equinox was changed to Easter after the Goddess's namesake. After being resurrected and the heiros gamos with Tammuz she gave birth to the son of man Tammuz, exactly 9 months later during the Winter Solstice, 21st December. Three days later our ancestors would cut an evergreen tree from the forest and decorate it with silver and gold and celebrate the birth of Tammuz with their Tammuz trees."
>
>***You may choose to believe this tripe but I and billions of others don’t. Are two billion people, making up the world's greatest ever religion wrong and you and your cohorts right? Oh and you cleverly avoided my question. Let me place it here for you again to address:
>“So tell me, when did Assyrians start following Christianity, en masse, according to your logic?”

%%% Christianity was the offical religion of the Roman Empire adopted by Constantine. The Assyrians who fell under the Roman Empire at the time were forced to change the name of their Gods and holidays to incorporate Jesus.

>
>“Besides being tolerant of all our religions and all our churches, I went to celebrate Tammuz-mas the birth of our god Tammuz during the Winter Solstice. You are celebrating it too whether you like it or not. but don't take my word for it feel free to do a google serach on the origins of Easter(Ishtar) and Christmas and see if what I'm saying is correct. So how do you reconcile the fact that two of the main Christian holidays are actuallyderived from ancient "pagan" holidays? Are you not being blasphemous? If you were a true Christian you'd stop celebrating these holidays completely.”
>
>***No Mr. Chibo, I was at my Church celebrating the birth of Lord Jesus Christ.

%%% I suggest you look up the Jesus in the manger story. It's common knowledge that Jesus was not born during the winter solstice, unlike Tammuz. During December 21st it is winter in the Middle East and there would be no shepherds tending their sheep at that time of year. Then we move onto Easter(Ishtar). Have you never wondered why it's celebratedd exactly 9 months before Christmas?

I was not celebrating the birth of Tammuz! And you are a liar; if you wanted to celebrate whatever religion it is you follow you should have gone to your Ishtar Temple in Melbourne not to the Assyrian Church of the East. You are not welcome in our Church until you apologize for what you have done and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and God – when you do I personally would accept you with open arms.

%%% I accept Jesus as a great teacher and mystic who followed in our ancestors footsteps. And finally it's not up to you or anyone else who is allowed to attend church or who is welcome or not.
I am very dissapointed in you I expected much better from one of my students. You came on here probably because aina is down thinking you'd easily win this debate and you'd prove a point. But instead these discussions have opened up many more questions for you then they have answered. This in itself is a good thing. Religion itself is a continuous search for the truth. I suggest you take a deep breath relax and do some further research. I admit I don't know all the answers but at least I'm asking all the right questions.

P.S. My regards to your dad and family.
