Particularly due to the strong attachment to Christianity which you have shown in the past. But the religion you worship is purely your business alone. Contrary to "Pancho's" warped view, I and millions of other Assyrians chose to be Christians and Assyrians. One does not have to be a worshipper of Ashur (i.e. not the term "Ashur" which is used for "God" in the Bible but the Ashur which the Ancient Assyrians used to worship) to be called an Assyrians. Because I follow the Christian religion does not make me or the overwhelming majority (perhaps 99.99%) of Assyrians unworthy of being Assyrians. The temple of Istar which you refer to is located 20 minutes from my home and despite its founders’ attempts on radio programs to hide the fact that he is worshipping the "Pagan Gods" you have just admitted to it above. The founder of 'Heckla D'Istar' stated on air that he has long been against Christianity and that his Garden or Temple is not a place of worship but a place to come in touch with what he called 'mother earth'. Feel free to ignore this question Mr. Chibo, but do you consider yourself a Christian, of course coming from a very strong Christian family? --------------------- |
