Your points are right on the money, and I do not dispute them. I only assert that we obligated to more than knowing the Word of God. Our only obligation to our fellow man is that we should love them, and each individual must be allowed to grow and mature in their own way as they struggle to do so. Those who speak against and denigrate love, speak against and denigrate God, who is love. Christ is God's love made manifest in the flesh. Those who do not love do not know God or his Christ. How we as individuals love our enemies is indicative as to how we love God. By the fruitage of our love we are known both to man and to God. The fruitage of traditional Christianity is one of bloodshed and repression, and it is in fact the world that we live in today. I am obligated then to warn my worst enemies, the members of my own household of Christianity, away from the same course as their forefathers whose works are manifest, and have already been judged and condemned by God.
