...In a biography written by his first cousin there is a copy of a letter written by an American social worker in Boston recommending the 14 year old Gibran to the attention of the American photographer Frederick Day...for whom Gibran modeled....for truly he was one helluva good looking man...in that letter the woman refers to Gibran as an Assyrian from Syria...had she been mistaken no doubt Khalil`s cousin(and the author of the book) would have added a footnote explaining the error.

Sure..he was Assyrian...why the hell not? No one is claiming there are none...or that they`re all Jassims and Shlimons and Jatous and Aprims...all I`m saying is that when these Christo-Fascists of ours talk as if ONLY Christians are worthy of being descended from the ancients...and then offer as "proof" that only they TALKALOT about being "Assyrians" and, "saw the light" and dumped Ashur for a REAL religion: namely Judo/Christianity...well, you just got to rear back and kick SOMEBODY!!!
