...of arrogance.

In the following exchange between Magpie and this Sam fellow you see what plagues this "nation" of people who don't need libraries or books or dictionaries..people who just KNOW and all have "higher educations". Magpie was in error when she claimed the McCoys were involved in the gunbattle at the OK Corral...along comes another "expert" to correct her...only he makes even more blunders. I'll admit I had to look up the details...but I knew they were both wrong...however, rather than barge in with more errors of my own to add to the growing mountian these two were busily piling up...I did something very simple to do...I looked up the INFORMATION! You know, like the "thorough research" Magpie beats us over the head with. This is open to anyone...if you have a computer with which to spew national nonsense, you also have resources you can turn to for the facts...only these arrogant and proudly ignorant people...all of them with higher education, disdain such efforts...they never developed the habit of CHECKING their facts..or thinking anything through...very much like their ditzy claims to being modern Assyrians, descendants of the ancients..they're satisfied with whatever serves their purpose...

The Hatfields and McCoys famous family feud were of a different era. It was eventually resolved by love when a young couple fell in love and married.

...it was not resolved by anyone falling in love. Quite the contrary, it was the love-match between a Hatfield and a McCoy that STARTED the all-out war between the two families..it ended when they'd killed enough of each other and their neighbors had enough of their antics.

Those at the OK Corral where the Clintons

...they were the Clantons, not the Clintons...along with the Earps and Doc Holiday.

But you are right all of these three families where hotheaded.

..you got one right...and the rest wrong because you too are hot-headed...leaping in without even bothering to make a cursory examination of the facts...which isn't surprising since you all dispense with facts, in fact treat any serious scholarship as if it was a disease, so you can put your ridiculous notion of yourselves as lineal descendnats of the ancient Assyrians before the world...no WONDER you're terrified of doing any real reseacrh and instead pull "facts" from your arse-ends as you need them.

Assyrians at times are no different not when they get answers like the one you gave The real McCoy. He/she may be a young person. To win him/her over try a softer appreach!

...you mean "approach". Or do you?
