....just skimmed though a master's thesis she submitted to a university in Canada...very well written and researched about Nestorian/Assyrians....she gives the history a good and easy read...she even lists Dr Joseph in her extensive bibliography...of course she completely omits the parts which show that there are no modern Assyrians....as you read along she refers to the peopel as Syriacs and Nestorians and even East/West Christians and Chaldeans too...and then, in the segment which starts the First World War she all of a sudden starts calling them Assyrians...with no explanation as to how they came by that designation, except THEY decided to call themselves that...other than that she write a pretty thorough history of the Nesotorians....

The interesting thing I learned was that Muslim society has ALWAYS had to content with religious outsiders among them...the Jews and Christians mostly...this makes you think about who has tolerance...who has TRIED to accommodate people of different faiths while keeping the peace...it was easy for the Christian Euros..they just killed all Muslims and Jews...leaving only fellow Christians and STILL they went to killing EACH OTHER!
