I'd forgotten that a friend of ours set one up for me.....I know I've never visited it...don't know how. But I was sent these comments placed there about the article I tried to get into Wkipedia regarding modern Assyrians...the comments below are in regard to that article.

The fellow writing is a Paul Eshau, I think.

"Hello; I don't know if it is you who wrote this lacking of knowledge blogger then I feel very bad for you."

...why would you feel badly for me? And why would I care?

"And I hope you search more into history to realize your true identity and base your conclusion on one book you read from someone who isn't even knoiwledgeable in Ancient studies. take care."

...I did search into history, as written by someone with a doctorate in history, a professor emeritus at Franklin and Marshal College and one who was honored by his college and students by having an International Studies Building named for him and paid for by a former student...this is man and a scholar of substance....whom do you to oppose to him?

Unlike you, I did give my opinions, I gave FACTS as stated by a recognized expert in this field....

...Dr Joseph is not an expert in ancient history...he knows that....but his field is NOT ancient Assyrians...it is the appearance in the modern era of people claiming to be descendants of the ancient Assyrians...he is an expert in modern MidEast history, which is when these curious claims first appeared...till then we were content to be known as Nestorians or "Suraye" but NEVER atouraye.

...you fault me for using "one book"..and yet you don't even mention that number to prove your case or disprove his...have you read even one book on the subject? And please, don't give me a list of "books" written by Assyrian engineers, like Aprim, or other amateurs who fill pages with their OPINIONS and then pay someone to print them...these are NOT scholarly pieces...just personal observations.

...and, to rest my case...you will not find a single, serious book, written by an expert in THIS field, someone with an advanced degree in the subject, whose book is published by real publishers, such as Princeton University Press or Brill Publishers, a 400 year old publishing house, in ANY university library or mentioned in any REAL encyclopedia, such as Britannica etc. The one place you will find these ridiculous claims is in Wikipedia..and that should tell you everything.

"I encourage you to keep up with your sculpture business and not get involved with history...unless you're willing to actually learn history."

...I would like to know where YOU learned your history from...in your comments you have only given us your opinions, which is all you people ever do...and you try to pass those off as facts because YOU believe them to be....give me YOUR reading list why don't you and maybe I'll feel sorry for YOU..
