He's back...this time he's whining about the Kurds and their "denial" of Assyrian history. They deny nothing...like no one else does. What they deny is any exclusive right to that status by a Christian minority. In their case also they resent the idea that anyone is "owed" any rights to land he can't seize and maintain for himself.

The Kurds will give no one "their land" back...as no one gave the Kurds anything they haven't been fighting, I mean the real stuff, for decades to get...and now that they have it they sure as hell see no compelling reason to cut any part of it off...neither will they allow small states to set themselves off in a Kurdistan that faces a tumultuous future..they need to circle the wagons right now...not send some of them off.

All of this can only "work" for Aprim if he can show that Assyrians are being "persecuted" in Kurdistan..just as he labored mightily to claim they were being persecuted in Iraq...his entire strategy depends on them BEING persecuted so that now, as then, all of his work is aimed at making it impossible for Assyrians to live in peace with their Kurdish government, or for that government to trust the Christians within Kurdistan....this is the kind of "patriotism" Aprim displays.

The absolutely last thing Aprim wants to see is Christians living peacefully and prosperously in Kurdistan...as the sight of them doing so in Iraq boiled his blood...and if there is no persecution, Aprim will devise some means to bring it about...that's been his "work" and all his scummy books have intended to achieve.

Aprim, like most Assyrian nationalists, is in reality the greatest enemy the remaining few Christians of Iraq have. The Kurds do not deny the Assyrian heritage...any more than anyone else there does...what they deny is that the ancient heritage entitles anyone today to a piece of what they did not earn by their own efforts and risk...this is pretty normal and straightforward...nothing at all odd or worth getting the fan tods over. Unless Aprim has his way. Nothing could please him more now than to hear that Assyrians were being MARTYRED in Kurdistan...he'd practically fly there himself to bring the bloody bodies back for a party...hell, he might even shoot some himself if things are slow.
