...that's our historians and nationalists. Like Bet-Shlimon, they all stay away from any real education...preferring the fables their priests and grandparents told them.

...something as simple as understanding the proper meaning and usage of words is beyond them...either it's ignorance or willful misrepresentation. Take words such as "persecution" and "martyr", among many they get wrong. It isn't "persecution" when you arrest people for sedition. Persecution is what happened in America with Natives first, then Africans and then Asians and then Italians and Irish and Jews and Catholics etc. Persecution is when you deny equal opportunity to people for reasons other than their merits....include Gays in that long list of people America has persecuted, and still is.

...no Christian was persecuted in Iraq...or by the Arabs. When a Christian, like Dr Donny George, can become head of antiquities for Iraq, you know persecution doesn't exist.

...what our people have suffered from is not persecution but prosecution for crimes...crimes which THEY decided were simply "patriotism" or getting "our rights". Ask Native Americans where that kind of reasoning got them.

...Christians suffered retaliation for what they DID, as Christians...not for BEING Christian.

...But they refuse to see it that way...to them any time they suffer the consequences of their actions they are being PERSECUTED and run crying to the world...but the world knows better. The world knows who is the real scholar and who is the Voodoo priest.

...Bet-Shlimon and his ilk should read what they now wipe their asses with and wipe their assess with what they get from Aprim...and their priests.

As far as the word "martyr" goes..they get the whole thing wrong. The fifth and last definition of that word in the basic dictionary describes them best...it ways that a martyr is one who tries to "elicit sympathy"....in other words, pity.

They make fun of proper speech...but it only makes them look foolish...which is great.
