...a pal sends me photos of a rally held by Assyrians in Turkey protesting America's ISIS...and right there on a banner they're carrying is an image of our Ashurbanipal monument in San Francisco.....it shows that there are ripple effects from things like this...but it also made me think that to Assyrians in other lands, especially those under attack, having an Assyrian sculpture honored like this, in America, must mean something....... --------------------- |
