...I so wish Aslan would have shot back, when the lady mentioned a "Theologian" that Aslan is a SCHOLAR of Religion NOT a Theologian....what the fuck is a theologian anyway?

You can know all about Voodoo, all about when to wring a chickens neck, how to catch its blood for your midnight howl at the moon etc., as a SCHOLAR of religion or as a BELIEVER in that religion...there is a big difference.

Who gives a shit what a theologian thinks? Aslan is writing as a scholar and historian OF religions....many religions. Theologians teach in the Theology department, they do not teach in the History department...just as that ditzy book Taco mentioned was published and edited by the THEOLOGY Department at Uppsala University NOT the History Department...there is a difference...but Taco doesn't know that and FOX wouldn't either.

It's that same conflict we see with assyrians such as our latest specimen, Taco. They believe what they LIKE and refuse to believe what they DON'T like...that's their standard of measure...and they see no difference between a fact and an opinion, an expert and a grandmother...to them it's all the same. Dr Joseph has his facts and Taco has his grandmother's opinions, and it's a wash...both are equally legitimate.

But who comes across as the fool?
