When you read Aprim’s writings you half-believe he’s serious…knows what he’s talking about. He uses words and ideas in ways close to their correct meaning…but if you tilt him slightly you see the little boy trying to get away with wearing a grown-ups outfit. He doesn’t really understand what he’s talking about…which could be one reason he becomes petulant whenever his disguise is exposed…also the reason he’s popular because his readers don’t know any better than he does but they too like the sound of the words and phrases.

He talks about “rights” and “nation” and “persecution” and “justice” like he understands what the words mean…but on closer examination you find he’s just got his feelings monumentally hurt, probably through being overly sensitive, and is complaining to parent or teacher for redress of imagined grievances.

Anyone who can write the paragraphs and paragraphs he does on what should be the reality in Iraq and not mention that the Iraqi constitution, which he bases his demands upon, is not Iraqi at all but was designed by Paul Bremmer and the Bush administration to salve the world’s conscience by declaring they were in Iraq to “liberate” all minorities and give them all national rights, can’t be trusted in the rest of his “political views”. He isn’t thinking at all…just blowing tunes out his arse.

How can you present yourself as an astute observer of events in Iraq and go so far as to take the present Iraqi government, made of people who likewise don’t leave the Green Zone and live in fear of their lives, to task for not “fulfilling its mandates”? When the Americans leave, and they will leave, who now thinks the Bremmer constitution will remain the law of the land? Anyone? Who thinks the present president and ministers will remain in Iraq after the gringos are gone? Money is being deposited in Swiss banks and this passle of opportunists will be back in Geneva or Paris or Houston and that will have been that. Iraq will have to start over again and there will be little to no patience for the demands and grievances of a Christian minority, fellow-believers of the Christians who raped Iraq and who made no secret, at least those outside of Iraq made none, of their delirious desire and hope that America would STAY and “do something for them”…having come to “do something for them”?

Does Aprim not know that a bigger Semele is waiting? Or does the thought of more martyrs thrill him to the point even he can’t see straight? Should the Christians in Iraq see it as an advantage that they’ll be herded into ONE great big village this time, not a small Semele but a great big “Nineveh” so that justifiably enraged Muslims, having no more American soldiers to vent their righteous fury against, can go one-stop-shopping for Christians at a single convenient location…where a bomb can be guaranteed to ONLY blow apart Christians?

What Christian “leader” will dare stand up in Iraq then and say his Christian minority, whose leader lives in the United States, DEMANDS an enclave because otherwise his people won’t feel safe? Were Muslims safe all those years Christians were attacking Iraq? Who guaranteed their rights? Who wept for them? Does Aprim really think, I mean REALLY, that Muslims will tolerate another postage-stamp country, ripped from their lands with the backing of yet another Christian power, to be populated by Christians? Does he think they will tolerate a Christian Israel in the form and under the name of “Assyria”, financially backed and dominated by the United States?

Really?
