...your writing always provokes thought, reflection and also breeds courage.

A true writer is a thinker first...a "feeler" actually. It's almost too much to expect that such people would also master the written word....but when they do.

You will always be out of place and time....those like you have always been. They must be. You aren't meant to have a home, a neighborhood, neighbors...maybe not even friends....certainly not wives or husbands.

Your thoughts are similar to those of countless women who suffered for their lives and loves since time began. Once women were as closeted with their feelings and aspirations as you are today.

Women were as defined by men as Gays are today...as constrained, as feared and resented and discriminated against and murdered too if they dared speak out and fight back....up till the 60s a man could still have his wife committed to an asylum for refusing her "natural wifely duties". It cost them terribly to forge another possibility...it has cost you...it will always cost someone.

You are doing the most essential work....I know, sometime you think you should do something more direct, more relevant, maybe even more "manly"...like drop a bomb. But someone has to be willing to dive down deep, so deep that it matters not at who you love or fuck. You're reflections touch us all....you are where the common thread runs through us all...and it's only natural and to be expected that most people will hate you for it...not just dislike you, but hate you.

You're writing my story as Anais wrote my story before you...you can't expect to avoid suffering...I know you realize this.
